Waschbecken mitten im Schlafzimmer ist ein NOGO. Ein mobiler Paravent würde Abhilfe schaffen aber den gibt's nicht. Hoteleigene Parkplätze sind Mangelware und mit 25€ pro Tag teuer.

Excellent location next to the Faro, good access to beach and promenade. Clean. Very friendly staff. And adults only, during my visit, average age of about 75, so you can feel young!

The hotel is extremely dark, be careful when using stairs! The area, while nice, is extremely noisy with music late in the evening and deliveries starting at 4am. You have to keep the windows closed if you want to sleep without interruption. And what they call Garden View rooms was in my case, with a superior room, a view over the parking and traffic circle! While friendly, the staff is inconsistent in what they are doing: I had days where I had 3 or 5 bath towels in the room instead of the two which should be there - but face towels were missing! Far from a 5 star experience, I would rate it solid 4 star.

Demasiado rigurosos con el tabaco

We did not have 5 star service. Had better service at 3-4 star. Reception staff are very professional and communicate well. A number of occasions we felt a burden and had to wait over 30 mins to get a cocktail. Whilst the serving staff caught up with each other. We cancelled the drinks and headed out. Our room was clean, but very much a squeeze. But never the less still good. We had numerous issues with the shower flooding, that we had to manage. It did eventually get resolved, but shouldnt have been on the customer to manage and have to keep repeating the issue. The roof top is a charge ontop and very loud on an evening( weekends are very busy and turned into a party hotel) we felt. Really dissapointed with this hotel due to service. Staff forever stood around chatting and ignoring the customers. On many occasions we experienced this, along with many other customers. Communication can be also, a little tricky at times. The food is good and a range of foods. The pool area is very comfortable and clean. The beds are luxury and very comfortable. Only downside, Some building works going on outside so could be non relaxing, along with building dust. I agree with the 5 star in terms of decoration, location. But service I am afraid to say 3 star. Such a shame could be really great with the correct staff in place. We do like staying at these chain of hotels, but dissapointed. The gentleman that greats you when you first arrive. Is very good for the hotel and makes a real lasting impression, this along with the reception staff. Not all bad or good, sorry to say just ok.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here - we had a good sized junior suite and the swimming pool area was great, never an issue getting beds. Hotel is well situated right on the beach. Staff overall are generally good, but sometimes there were not enough around, especially by the pool. However there are negatives that we encountered: Adults only hotel that lets children of any age into its al la carte restaurant. This is not advertised nor should be the case as I have never encountered this in an adults only establishment. During our meal there were children making noise as you would expect of the age group. However this is not why we booked and chose this hotel. I complained to the hotel manager and he tried deflect my criticism by saying it as was an external offering with an entrance on the beach to the public. I didn't agree as it was part of the hotel and nowhere was this advised in advance. We did not go back. They have 17 of these Balinese beds round the pool that if you miss the small signage (as many did) as you enter the pool area are chargeable at 20 Euros per day. Staff round the pool asked you to move if you haven't paid and this continually led to awkward encounters we witnessed. In the 12 days I was there I don't think I ever saw anyone using these beds, so thy sit there empty - why would you when the sun loungers are comfortable and you are already paying 5 star pricing to stay there? Bought this also to the attention of the hotel manager, and he said it was the group policy - I believe they have this policy wrong. In addition there were often times during the day when there were no staff to serve food or drink. Either had to wait considerable lengths of time or go into the hotel to find help. Ocean buffet - Good selection at breakfast but eggs freshly ordered every single day arrived lukewarm. Went to the buffet one evening and food whilst a good selection was again not hot. At end of my meal they initially refused to serve me coffee as said this had to be taken in the bar. Said I wanted to have it when finishing off my meal , told me again this was hotel policy. Lighting in our bedroom was generally dim and same in corridors by lifts. Hotel seems to have a policy of gloomy lighting in certain parts of the hotel. Cocktail I had in the sky bar was at least 50% ice - complained that for 10 Euros it was poor value and bar staff said that was how they were told to serve them.
