Location, the style of the building and room.

The receptionist was very courteous and helpful. The location very near the beautiful Santa Barbara coast is excellent, and I loved the old Spanish style building decorated with antique furniture, lamps, pictures, etc. Very cool motel!

The only things that could have been better is the free breakfast that only included bagels and muffins and not the usual sausage and scrambled eggs you would normally expect. The room had no A/C and glad we didn't have a hot day.

Breakfast was poorly presented, and very limited. Coffee was out, no one was around to refill.

The facility is old, dirty without organization. Reception was awful, not welcoming and hard to find the person who supposed to be present. The bathroom was beyond bad with moldy window, chipping paint and wobbly toilet seat. The chairs were also worn and dirty in the room. It was only one night so we stayed but never again in this facility.

This place was amazing. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. In an exceptionally great location. Our apartment was a two bedroom one bathroom on the second floor. It has a large living room with a large tv and dining room space that was all in one. And a small full kitchen that was stocked with dishes if needed. The bathroom was awesome it had a separate second sink and counter/mirror space so someone could be using while the actual bathroom could be being used that has a large bathtub shower combo sink/mirror and toilet. The bedrooms were nicely set up one had a queen size bed and full closet and very large tv. The second bedroom has a full size bed and was small with almost no space to walk around the bed but it was perfect for what we needed it had a large tv as well but no closet. The beds in the rooms were very comfortable. The Beach was across the street as well as the Warf with lots of dining spots all around in walking distance.

Parking was kind of a hard situation. But with that being said we ended up getting great parking right in front of our space both evenings but it was by luck not convenience. If there is a parking lot I'm not sure where because we were never told where and we walked around the property a lot and never saw room for parking anywhere. Street parking which we got had restrictions and parking enforcement was out so be careful of that one. This was not a deal breaker at all I would definitely stay here again and again!

The location was perfect to walk to everything we wanted. The staff were amazing helping us quickly when an issue arose about the room we were assigned to when we checked in. We were given a different room that provided all we needed and then some.

Finding an open parking spot was difficult at times.

Gorgeous place! Beautiful property and amazing location right by the pier. Nice pool, delicious breakfast. And cozy welcoming happy hour with complimentary wine and cheese. I LOVED this place!

Bed mattress in my room was VERY hard. If that's what you like - you'll love it then.

A bit outdated, small rooms, staff confused our original booking for someone else.

Location was perfect and the size of the rooms.

It was not very clean, the outside porch/patio was not swept well, the chairs were not cleaned so we couldnt even sit there. The pillow cases and blanket had dark markings on them, looks washed but had stains. The top of fridge had a lot if dust and some spilled liquid stain. The loght switches i had to wipe everything down because they had stains from other people's hand probably. The tub was old, you can tell it needed to be replaced or just removed.

The breakfast was just OK. I think a few more options would be good for the people who stay there. For example, maybe some fruit muffins some yogurt, just a little bit more variety.

The place was great and I cannot say I did not like it. My day was very, very comfortable.
