The Old Stables B&B

One of my very best B&B experiences. Jeff was very helpful in letting me check in early because I was attending an all day event elsewhere. The room was delightful. I loved the cottage. Winslow was a joy to visit and breakfast was great. If I am in the area again, I will definitely try to stay here again.

I could not fault anything, though people staying should realise lovely cottages don't come with massive car parks. You park on the street where you can find a space. This was not really a problem. Even though in the centre of town it is quiet and any walk was a delight because it was all so pretty.

Great accommodation - very close to High Street pubs and facilities. Comfortable beds and everywhere very clean, we had a really enjoyable stay. Very kind host provided a lovely breakfast - nothing was too much trouble.

Jeff, the host, made us very welcome and we felt like we were in a proper home. Being able to use the living room and to make drinks in the kitchen added to the feeling of being at home. It was nice to have breakfast when we wanted it and there was a good range of things to eat.

The house is clean, the room is nice, and the breakfast includes local bread from the local Farm Deli and homemade jams from a nearby farm. Jeff Crisp does a great job making sure guests see more of Winslow than they would have staying elsewhere with keys to a church and knowledge of the town making all guests feel welcome and relaxed.
