No dislikes

everything was great. Had the best shower of our whole vacation

The place was decorated nicely, was fun, historic and unique. The rooms were whimsical.The food in the restaurant was good.There were options for vegans which is always nice to see. Dinner service in the restaurant was timely, friendly and efficient. While we didn't use them, there was a clean pool and a small exercise/weight room.

We didn't realize we would be in an auxiliary building and not in the main motel. There was an upcharge for a room in the main hotel which we declined. The remote for the TV didn't work and after trying new batteries and then a different remote, we switched rooms. The mattress was very firm and uncomfortable. The outside noise level was loud, traffic, garbage truck, etc. We had breakfast at the motel and expected the same service as dinner had been. We waited a long time to be greeted by our server and brought a menu and drinks. Our meal also took a long time to prepare and delivered to pur table. Nothing like the night before.

Nostalgia. Fun quirky.

No AC at this time of year. Marijuana dispensary right across the road. You could smell pot, heavy pot through the whole afternoon. To each his own. But I dont need the crutch.
