Elena at reception is the best! There is a Michelin‑Star restaurant on the mid‑level that guests can walk to; the seafood and the sunset view are unforgettable. The hotel pool and well‑positioned deck areas are perfect for a day of doing nothing—unlimited Wi‑Fi included—while the morning‑shift lifeguard is impeccable. We’re in a semi‑detached bungalow at the top with unlimited sea views—it’s more than a perfect holiday, to be honest!

The location is about an hour from the airport. The airport bus service costs €20 each way via its app to the town and is not regular after 4p.m. local time. The hotel shuttle’s last service is at 7:30p.m. Taxi numbers at the bus station are always on voicemail. You do need to plan your arrival carefully. The hotel arranged a chauffeur for €25 cash that picked us up from the bus station. That’s definitely not a bad thing. Our travel from home for London Gatwick Airport at 9a.m. and arrival at the hotel room at 10p.m. was a bit exhausting. But we’re not alone; a few people I met at the pool said they also deliberately spent a significant amount of travel time to get to this holiday haven. The toilet bowl is a bit tired, like mine at home; it should be replaced to match the holiday feeling.

Location is perfect, looking at the bay and the beach 5min out of the town for restaurants

On paper this could be a great hotel, however several things could get a small but meaningfull update. It is visible the entire hotel lacks maintanance/updates, there was a sewage smell walking in some parts, the mens toilet in the bar had a broken lock, chairs in the dining area were old, both toilets in the bar had no toilet paper, etc. On a personal level our toilet was clogged, the glass in between door could not be locked, pillows were flat, etc. Wifi was only available in common area's which was known before, but it should be easy to do it in all the rooms. Also the wifi was not reliable. But for us the most important thing was that twice someone came in into our room at 8:15. The first time my wife was hardly dressed when someone opened our door unanounced. We complained at the reception and received a do not disturb sign. Then on our last day the housekeeping again entered at 8:15 rudely awakening us. Since it is our last day why does housekeeping even need to be in our room??? When stating the above at the reception there was hardly any real feedback or understanding of our situation. Not even a :'hope your stay was nice', when we checked out. Simple things which can be solved or prevented would make this a way better stay.
