Anse Chastanet Resort

Excellent, quiet relaxing hotel. Very private. 2 beautiful beaches.

Wonderful stay, one of the best vacations I have ever been on! Incredibly well trained and friendly staff. Excellent food with fresh seafood every day.That being said, let me give you some detail so you can make an informed decision: 1) The resort is a series of about 12 villas that are on the side of a very steep mountain side with absolutely incredible views of both the ocean and the Pitons, each villa has about 3 separate living quarters. The living areas are open on one side,no wall, we had a screened in bedroom area. There are plenty of fans, but no A/C. That being said, if you are a nature lover, and enjoy the sounds of birds in the morning and tree frogs at night, or the sound of a rain shower and can sleep at about 75 F then you will love this place. If you like sleeping with no sound in an enclosed room, and the temperature at 70 F or below it may be uncomfortable for you. 2) The road to the resort; Yes, its very rough and a bit precarious at times. It is about 2 miles long and one lane up the side of the mountain. It is really no different than any mountain road in the US. We used this road several times during our stay, and it was honestly no big deal. 3) Lots of steps from the beach to the villas; yes we walked the steps a lot to keep fit during our vacation, if walking is not for you, the resort gives you a phone to call for a shuttle 24/7. Every time we called, there was someone to pick us up in 2 minutes. 4)Snorkeling was excellent right off the beach

We could not have been more pampered in this paradise! This is our second year going there, and we hope to make the trip again next year!

We traded up to Jade Mountain and that was very special. Food was much better and the room and service could not be compared. It is more expensive per night but worth it.

A lovely place but....they are not kidding about the steep stairs. It is work to get anywhere. The shuttle system is good but you get tired of having to call for it numerous times a day. I found the room very dark.....otherwise, great service and great beach with good snorkelling.

Anse Chastanet is the perfect place to go if you want to get away from technology and the business of your daily life and relax. The scenery is gorgeous and the staff were attentive for the most part. There were no TVs and limited WiFi which was good but did get annoying towards the end of the trip. Also, the open air design of the rooms looks very cool but in reality it actually was really hot! We’re used to AC so in order to deal with the heat we took multiple showers a day, had fans going and basically were resigned to the fact that we were going to be sweating. Our porch was very nice though and we enjoyed our morning coffee out there everyday. The food was good but I would’ve liked a few more options. Breakfast and lunch were fine but I wanted more than two places to go for dinner. We went on one excursion while we were in St. Lucia which was the hot springs, mud bath and waterfall tour. It felt gimmicky to me and not as authentic as I had hoped. All the attractions we visited that day felt like tourist traps. Overall, our trip was great. We had a good time. I just wish we either had AC or a personal pool in our room to cool off.

Could not say enough good things about Anse Chastanet! It was a dream vacation! The property is absolutely breathtaking and the staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our stay spectacular. For example, when we received our original room they heard me mention I wish that it had a Piton view. The manager came down to the beach to find us about an hour later and said they had a Piton view available and would gladly move us. I also lost my hat at check-in and they searched extensively and found it inside our transportation from the airport (my fault!). The food is EXCELLENT. Highly recommend the all-inclusive as there is really nowhere else to eat besides the restaurant property. It's not like those crappy Sandals/Mexico cookie cutter all-inclusive plans with bad drinks or limited meal options! The beach is gorgeous and there are a ton of free activities and rentals along with excursion options that the concierge will set up for you. Can not say enough good things!

Be prepared for lots of steps property is on side of a mountain I think I lost ten pounds its all uphill from the beach not really a complaint but did not think about before
