Hotel City House

Mukava, erilainen majoitus. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Ympäristö vaikutti osin rauhattomalta, mutta ei sinänsä kuitenkaan aiheuttanut liikkuessa häiriötä.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich! Die Ausstattung sehr individuell. Das Kaminzimmer ist toll. Schnell vom Hauptbahnhof erreichbar. Bett sehr bequem.

Etwas hellhörig. Kein Netflix auf den Zimmern. Aber dafür kann man sich im Kaminzimmer an den Büchern bedienen und lesen.

Sauberkeit des Zimmers und Ausstattung.

Frühstück, zu wenig Auswahl für den Preis. Frühstücksraum ziemlich klein.

Sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal. Ein Geheim Tipp in Hamburg.

The room was an Ok size with a Double bed that was comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was a little tight but, being on my own, was ok. The staff could not have done anything more to help. They were very welcoming and pleasant to talk to. The area wasn't the best though. There were a lot of homeless people about though they didn't bother you and I never felt unsafe. Not particularity near anything but bus and Underground stops were very close with only a few mins walk. Also the Central station was a 9 minute walk away.

Not much to dislike, the only thing I missed was a Kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There was a lounge downstairs that had a coffee machine but would have been nicer to have something in the room. I'm not sure if this is normal in Germany as, being from the UK, its expected to have this in the room.

We stayed in a large room with coffee making facilities. The high ceilings and traditional decor gave a quality feel to the room. The bathroom, too, was spacious and light and airy. It was always quiet and easy to get a good night's sleep. The staff were all delightful and helpful. The hotel is well located, near the main station, and several bus routes. We particularly liked the cosy sitting room where you could grab a coffee and a book and sit for a while.

The area near the station was a bit seedy and I would not have liked to return late at night on my own but we saw no trouble, so overall, we were happy with the location.

Bei der Dusche kam immer wieder plötzlich kaltes Wasser... aber nur die harten kommen in den Garten 😄
