Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott St Louis Downtown

This one of the newer designs of the Fairfield, there are more electronic plugs in the room, the parking was easily accessible, we were upgraded and the room was is right across from the convention center, so book early, they can get busy. The exercise room was clean and had many bikes and machines. There is an outdoor patio with a fireplace, nice touch! The parking is covered, but this is the first Marriott I have never been given complimentary parking, it would worth asking before you book. Breakfast fas standard fare, but the staff was always there to make sure the food was fresh.

We loved the restaurant attached to the hotel. It was December and it was nice not having to leave to go find food. The breakfast buffet was well beyond any continental breakfast ever. Staff was friendly, it was clean and comfortable.

The location of the Fairfield Inn & Suites St. Louis is definitely a strong point—very convenient to downtown, right off the highway, and within walking distance of Union Station. That said, the surrounding area itself is pretty quiet with minimal activity, especially in the evenings. Our stay was mixed overall. While the hotel was comfortable, housekeeping fell short during our visit. The room was not cleaned properly, and even the garbage was not picked up, which was disappointing. Additionally, breakfast options were very limited for vegetarians and there were almost no choices available for vegans. With better attention to cleanliness and more inclusive food options, this could be a much more solid option given the great location.
