Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca

From the pictures show by tui didn’t expect my room to over look a road. Have to cross a road outside the resort to access it. Very noisy in the morning. Buses arriving. Asked to move rooms been moved up higher but same block. It’s like they bought a block intended for other use. Cala verde looks much nicer. But Tui just seem to put you in Cala blanca. Which is 3 stars and you pay for 4 stars. Resort not great. Views are nice that’s about it. Hopefully get some sleep past 6am for the rest of my holiday as after being incredibly busy for 4 months just needed some r&r no 6am wake up calls. No worrying my daughter is crossing a road to go back to the room. I would avoid unless you pay the upgraded rooms and even then the resort is tired

La distancia hasta el comedor . Mi marido iba en silla de ruedas y el desplazamiento hasta llegar allí era un poco incómodo, sobre todo en las cuestas.

Great experience here with family. Lovely food and plentiful, 4 large pools including adults only and the pirate ship pool. Friendly staff. Immaculate rooms and comfy beds. Food is varied and they have theme nights eg Italian, meat, American, Asian, Spanish etc. Fresh fish/ paella (veggie and fish) plenty of salads. Very fresh. You can eat very healthily if you wish. However always chips, chicken based food. And the churros and chocolate sauce are fantastic at breakfast. Sunloungers- loved the fact there was no great early rush for them. You could have gone to pool at 11:30 and still got a prime spot by the pool were liked. However we went beginning of June, it may be different at peak times when kids are off- however there is a rule that you cannot keep loungers until after 9:30 or staff will remove the towels if left unattended. It also states no inflatables in the pool, however some did have them, again this may be due to us being there at a slightly earlier period than school holiday peak. Large complex decorated with beautiful palms and flowers. If you struggle with steps/inclines you may find this sometimes challenging as the beach generally is down steep and deep steps. They run a bus shuttle service (reasonably charged) most days to local market (hippy market on a Saturday) shops on other days (Sunday shops are closed though) the bus shuttle collects you at the very top of the site which is quite a steep walk, however I am sure reception perhaps would pop you up there in their shuttle bus from reception if you requested it as they are very cooperative. Beach sun beds are €10 each plus €10 for the umbrella so €30 total per day for 2 if you want to spend the day at the beach. Decent evening entertainment and mini disco etc for younger children. The entertainment staff work hard. Would definately return. Would suit families, however plenty of adults only and couples etc and due to the size of the complex and amount of pools it does cater to lots of options. Great food. Good value for money. Air con in rooms is excellent, safe and fridge in each room. Pillows are full and quite firm, you only get a couple of thin sheets for sleeping however if you get cold blankets and extra pillows in wardrobe. Maid service daily, towels changed and beds made. Bar- plentiful drinks. Chocolate milk is lovely if you like milkshakes and coffee made at the bar is far nicer than what you can get in the canteen. Limited basic ice creams and cocktails are included in the all inclusive package. Estrella on tap.

Food was the biggest let down with this hotel, they used poor quality products. One night after seeing Yorkshire puddings near the grill area, discovered obviously the surplus Yorkie puddings ( Aunt Bessie types) on the lunchtime offering the next day . But we were shocked to see prawns with their heads on inside them, then some with pasta in, ha ha, never seen this before. See pic There’s a problem with huge seagulls swooping onto people’s plates in the main restaurant, (outside area) one lady was actually at her table eating & screamed out in shock, as one took food off her plate. I think a few plastic hawks or pest control were needed. Serious health & safety problem, Cocktails were pre made syrupy drinks, all premium spirits were extra. Quite dirty areas, everywhere could do with a good scrub, corridors, pools, lifts, don’t look too closely . If you’re happy with a Butlins vibe, fair enough. Wouldn’t personally return.

We stayed at this hotel end May to beginning of June with my daughter, her husband and ten year old grandson as part of celebrations for my big birthday. We wouldn't normally travel during school holidays but really wanted to make it a family holiday. We had booked all inclusive. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Four pools, if you include the adults only (which we didn't get to use, but it looked lovely) and Pirate Island, which our 10 year old grandson enjoyed but then decided was a bit too young for him! There is a bar at each pool. All pool areas were kept clean and tidy with staff collecting cups etc at regular intervals. A lovely big restaurant with lots of choice and tables inside and out. The maitre d was always friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were friendly to a degree but also very busy. The food never really ran out. As soon as the croissants, meat, desserts ran out, another batch magically appeared. The robot serving coffee in the morning was an added, very cute, bonus. The entertainment during the day included aquaerobics and poolside bingo, if that's your bag,and cheesy but fun entertainment in the evening - Game show, acrobatic acts, Hakuna Matata. None of it went on past 10 pm allowing the young ones to enjoy a 'late' night after a busy day in the pool or on the beautiful beach. The beach consists of a long white sandy beach with gentle sandy sloping edge into a warm Mediterranean sea. There are the usual (overpriced)sunbeds and umbrellas but the sand is fine to sit or lie on. Some parts of the beach get deeper and more rocky, so investigate and choose where you prefer. Access to the beach is either directly down some steps (steepish, but manageable or along the road passed a few shops selling umbrellas, inflatables etc and some food and directly on to the beach via a small boardwalk. Our room was quite small and on the road, but it had everything you needed and the road was not noisy. We slept well. The room was kept clean and tidy. Shower was very good. Balcony a bit small, but we hardly spent any time there anyway. Reception staff were very friendly and efficient even encouraging me with my 'Spanish'. It wasn't perfect but very nearly. Our only issues were with some of the pool rules, in particular the rule saying no inflatables but lots of children had them and, of course, the usual sunbed 'boking' but that's the fault of the guests not the staff. The hotel could possibly do with a small grown up bar where an adult can get a drink in a glass, but it is clearly designed mainly for families and I'm not sure many adults would book it for a couples holiday. Perhaps somewhere for grandparents to have a coffee or cheeky cocktail after a day with the grandchildren, or even mum and dad could enjoyed chillin' while grandparents babysit. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time here and would definitely recommend it for families of all ages and combinations. Well done Cala Blanca.

Holtel muy bien situado, a pie de playa. Tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar: piscinas, restaurantes, pistas de tenis... Desayuno fantástico. La habitación grande, espaciosa, con vistas al mar y renovada. Nos dejaron toallas y nos pudimos duchar despues de la playa, antes de coger el vuelo.
