Lismoyne Hotel

We stayed in the suite which had a large spa bath which is lovely. The young gentleman on the bar in the evening is a credit to his employer. He has a great positive attitude and is warm and welcoming.

The noise of generators can be heard but isn’t enough to prevent a decent nights rest in the large bed we had.

Quiet location with the rooms looking out over a green space and we could open the windows. We even heard a woodpecker in the morning and breakfast was excellent. The heating seemed to be on all night and no means of switching it off.

Clean , big free car park. Lively woodland gardens. Great reception desk staff and reception lounge area. Nice bar. Big breakfast room.

All good for us.

Old property in need of updating, looked like St Trinians when we arrived. Windows needed cleaning.

We had a really quiet room considering there was a big wedding going on. It was a comfortable bed with clean crisp bedding. There was a decent breakfast selection. It was excellent value for money, the staff were friendly and there was loads of parking available despite the wedding.

Why the £5 per night parking charge when it's a huge area in front of the hotel? The bathroom would benefit from an update, window handles hanging off etc, and the whole place could do with decorating.
