Pool could have been warmer ! More entertainment in the evening

The Location of the Hotel is excellent with lovely surroundings and fabulous grounds, again the theme of the Hotel is spectacular.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Multiple Serious Issues Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was far below expectations. We were allocated a “garden view” room, but the only view was an overgrown corner tree that completely blocked any natural light from entering the room. The room was designated as non-smoking, yet the hallways consistently smelled of cigarettes, and attempting to sit on the balcony was impossible due to smoke drifting from neighbouring rooms. On several occasions, an overwhelming smell of cannabis from another room made the situation even worse. The room itself was not comfortable. The two large beds were extremely hard—comparable to sleeping on a concrete slab. I am physically fit, yet I still woke up each day with significant back pain and very little sleep, which had a serious impact on the holiday. Cleanliness was also below standard. The room contained thick dust along the sides of the heavy, old furniture and in the carpet. This isn’t a reflection on the housekeeping team but rather the poor condition and upkeep of the furnishings. To make matters worse, for eight days we had a persistent sewage smell coming from the bathroom. We were forced to block the drains with tissue and towels just to make the room bearable. Although this issue was reported, the only action taken was someone spraying air freshener, which did nothing to resolve the underlying problem. Overall, the combination of smoke issues, poor cleanliness, uncomfortable beds, lack of natural light, and an unresolved sewage smell made our stay extremely disappointing. We expected a far higher standard and feel this stay did not reflect the advertised quality of the hotel.

Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid, verse producten en telkens voldoende aangevuld. Heel lekker & voor elk wat wils! Het personeel was supervriendelijk, om het even waar of wanneer je iets vroeg werd je altijd verder geholpen. TOP verblijf met fantastische view. Ook heel lekker gegeten in de 2 restaurants van het hotel waar opnieuw klasse, vriendelijkheid en excellente service hoog in het vaandel worden gedragen!

Hotel Villa Cortes har en fantastisk beliggenhed ude ved stranden-kanten, hvor der iøvrigt er en lækker strandbar. På den anden side af hotellet ligger byen, hvor der overalt findes gode shopping-muligheder og restauranter fra hele verdenen. Pool-området er skønt. Dejlige liggestole og hver dag udleveres der et stort badehåndklæde. Morgenmaden er rigtig god og kokken laver en fantastisk omelet!

Alt var ok, ligesom sidste gang vi boede på hotellet i 2019. Men et forslag til hotellet vil være, at man burde have en vogn, som kører rundt i pool-området og tilbyder drinks, chips m.m. Evt. også happy-hour!
