It’s perfect for transient travelers

Lack of facilities. The shower was not working. Limited resources

This place is a gem. The common areas, both inside and out, are welcoming and comfortable. Coffee and tea are always on. I shared a 6-bunk room with one other person. The room also had its own spacious and sparkling clean bathroom. The bed and provided linens made for a restful night's sleep The staff person was very personable and accommodating. Excellent hot breakfast sandwiches and fresh fruit. Rates vary according to season and day of the week, but were extremely reasonable for a mid-week stay in mid-September. Short of camping, you won't find lodging that is a better value in the Telluride area. There's even a bus that stops a few times daily to go to Telluride or down valley. Be sure to check out the general store just up (down?) the road in Sawpit--gas much cheaper than Telluride, good BBQ and great coffee and breakfast sammies.

It was a very pleasant stay. Got to meet some interesting people. Definitely would stay here again in the future.

Breakfast was delicious!

The pillows were horribly flat! Need 2!!
