Absolutely stunning lodge with top quality fittings and decor. Great pool to laze around with a beautiful setting. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is delicious.

Just a minor detail- in that I required gluten free bread- which they had but when it arrived - it was soaked in butter and covered in cinnamon.

Amazing small lodge. So peaceful! We loved that it was small without a lot of people and no children! The staff was friendly and always ready to assist. Well done to the chef preparing a scrumptious dinner and breakfast! We had an awesome stay and felt relaxed in the beautiful rooms and location with the sound of the river in the background! We would love to return, but for a longer stay!

The staff, Kennedy, Philip and the chef were excellent. So friendly and really made our trip. The rooms are beautiful, the whole setting is amazing. Honestly cannot recommend WBL enough! The food was also delicious.

The food was great, the staff was amazing 10/10 for Kennedy, he made sure we were sorted at all times!

The shower could set the water warm. It would get super hot then straight cold.

"Beautiful location with a lot of potential but very overpriced for what was devilered"

It is a beautiful location, very clean and stunning decor, friendly and accomodating staff, beautiful view and pool area. The honeymoon room had a lovely private pool with nice finishes. The breakfast had a great display and selection and we really enjoyed that.

We specifically requested this room as it had air-conditioning which wasn't working, the door was broken and when room service came to clean they didn't top up any coffee or water. We were disappointed by the actual game farm seemed neglected with not many animals and very far from hoedspruit. As we hoped for more of a bush experience and it was more European experience. it was a small venue so therefore they were under staffed. Meals took a long time to be served and very disappointed that there were no options to choose from only a set meal which was average ( we even had a big insect in our meal and staff didn't even give the option to give a new dish to replace) it's the little things. All in all for what we paid and what was delivered didn't feel like a fair exchange for the experience.
