Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District

Stayed here on road trip home to Florida. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean. In a great location with plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

Had a great stay at the Hilton in the Savannah Historic District. Especially wanted to shout out Kabrea at the front desk for being so kind and helpful!!!!! I booked through a third party site (do not recommend), and when I arrived around 9-10 pm there was no record of my reservation in their system. It turned into a pretty stressful situation that took a while to sort out with the booking company, but Kabrea was so calm, patient, and sweet through the entire thing. She did everything she could to help get it resolved, which I really appreciated after a long travel day. After everything was figured out, the rest of my stay was great! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location for exploring Savannah.

Great location—right in the heart of the historic district and within walking distance to tours, restaurants, and entertainment. The front desk was kind enough to upgrade my room and provide breakfast tickets for my birthday, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, there were ongoing issues with parking charges and valet communication, and housekeeping entered our room early on checkout day while we were still in bed. Although staff said the issue would be addressed, my card was still charged in full, and it was difficult to reach a manager afterward. The stay started strong but fizzled at the end, so next time I visit, I will try a different hotel.

The location was fantastic—right in the heart of the historic district and within walking distance to tours, restaurants, excursions, and entertainment. The view from the balcony was spectacular and definitely a highlight of the stay. I also appreciated the front desk upgrading my room and providing breakfast tickets for my birthday, which was a thoughtful and welcoming gesture.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that took away from the experience. The daily parking was expensive, and there was ongoing miscommunication with valet parking and charges not being correctly applied to my room. The hot tub was out of order, and the room had a slight odor. On checkout day, housekeeping entered our room around 8:30 a.m. while my husband and I were still in bed. Although staff said an adjustment would be made to our charges, my card was still billed in full, and it was difficult to reach a manager afterward. Overall, the stay started strong but fizzled at the end, and next time I visit, I will try a different hotel.

Great service! Lave was so kind and considerate helping me load 2 cars for my daughters wedding. I was so grateful!

This is a great spot if you’re going to the historic district, specifically City Market. It gives you access to all the bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is very beautiful. Lave, The parking attendant was beyond nice, courteous, and very helpful. Ask for him!
