Solar do Castelo - Lisbon Heritage Collection - Alfama

The location next door to the castle was fantastic. We loved the relaxed lounge/breakfast area with coffee and cakes always available and champagne provided at 5pm! The free transfer from airport to the hotel was great - such narrow and winding streets!

The room was a bit small but it was described as petit so no surprise then!

空港での出迎え、部屋に置かれたポルトワイン、庭にやって来る孔雀、などおもてなし感がたっぷりある。 周りはお城をはじめ歴史的建物で、その足元にあるこのホテルもかつてはお城のキッチンだったという歴史的建物。 紹介してもらったプライベートツアーのガイドは、地元出身で豊富な知識を持つインテリで、ツアー中の会話のおかげでポルトガルという国が良く理解できた。

Eine tolle Lage direkt neben dem Castelo de São Jorge, in einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone. Durch die Lage konnten wir die Stadt nochmal ganz neu erkunden. Die Frühstückszeit geht bis fast 12 Uhr, glaube ich, auf jeden Fall länger als üblich, das hat für uns den Start in den Tag sehr entspannt gestaltet. Im Patio des Hotels (im alten Küchengebäude der Burg) waren regelmäßig die Pfauen der Burg zu Besuch, das war unterhaltsam und besonders.

Wir waren im Winter da, dadurch konnten wir Touristenmassen gut umgehen, das war uns auch vorher bewusst. Im Sommer wäre es für mich persönlich nichts.

Buffet breakfast was excellent. as were the complementarity tea, coffee and pastries throughout the day. also the complementary sparkling wine and port in the evenings. Excellent location next to the castle. Friendly and helpful staff

We were collected at the airport by a courtesy car arranged by the hotel which made transfer and check a simple process. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The lounge provided space to relax and meet other guests. The location, although at the top of a hill which made walking hard work sometimes is well served by public transport. Breakfast is available from 07:30 to noon which is amazing. The courtyard while small is perfectly adequate to relax in and the peacocks add further charm.
