Vila Gale Marina Resort Hotel

There were more negatives than positives. When we checked in the Reception did not inform us of how to access the WiFi, the room safe or how to get the pool towels. For a room that holds 4 people (junior suite) there was a large wardrobe but only 10 hangers for 4 people. What an absolute waste of space. There was very limited drawer space in the room. In the bedroom there was a large table holding the TV which could have had drawers underneath. The bedside tables had no drawers in. Who designs these rooms. We were told (only after I’d asked) that you collect the pool towels at 10am at the side of reception. When I went at 10am the next morning there was no-one there. I asked reception how you got the pool towels. The lady literally just got me some from the back room. There were no instructions on where to return the towels when you’d finished with them. It seems you just left them on your sunbed but this isn’t good because people don’t know when you’ve finished with the bed if someone left a towel behind. There should be a large bin to return them to. But why is none of this explained. It encourages people to just leave towels on the sunbed when they are no longer use. One afternoon there were three of us on one bed with empty beds around us with towels lying on them, clearly no longer in use. Why not have all towels on a shelf if there’s no limit in who can have one. Why employ a girl to sit there all day handing towels out.

Lovely hotel. Very near to the marina. Recommend staying here.

Staff very helpful from the time we arrived . enjoyed the spa treatments which were very reasonabley priced. Pool staff also very good.

staff were great. needs more plugs in room by mirrors. we did feed this back to the staff. Trouser press would be good and better vegetarian options

Bar area needs to be more comfortable and inviting

Nice Hotel, lovely views. Main enterence is at rear of property which is not very well lit up.

Reception lobby could do with refurb looks a bit tired ... clean but dated

Great location, friendly staff , good facilities. Nothing too much trouble for the staff.

Location was very good for both the marina and the beach. Was surprised there was a charge for using the safety box.
