Being right on the beach was really nice! We really enjoyed the pools. There was so much amazing food.

Goede centrale locatie, mooi hotel van buiten, voldoende parking en zwembad

Quasi geen glutenvrije en lactosevrije opties terwijl dit duidelijk vooraf werd gemeld, personeel ontbijt niet vriendelijk, zeer kleine badkamer en mini douche met water dat zeer onregelmatig te heet of te warm was. Interieur hotelkamer afgeleefd.

Tout était parfait et de plus, nous avons été surclassés avec une suite. La piscine est incroyable avec un barman très attentif. L’endroit est magnifique. Le personnel est très agréable.

Juste un détail insignifiant … c’était juste un peu loin à pied de la presqu’île mais c’est aussi ça qui fait son charme. Nous étions à 5 mn en voiture du parking Molo S. Antonio qui se trouve juste à côté du pont qui rejoint Ortigia et il y a aussi un arrêt de bus juste en face de l’hôtel pour ceux qui préfèrent.

The place has a perfect old style vibe. The view from the roommates very beautiful. Area of the pool looked very nice.

I believe that the hotel is very beautiful, but needs renovation and to get a little bit up-to-date. It’s a pity that such a beautiful hotel is not fully renovated. The breakfast is a little bit simple and old style.

Hotellissa oli ihanaa vanhan ajan glamouria, hienoa kun se on säilytetty tähän päivään asti. Hotellin historiaa oli kivasti tuotu esille esitteissä ja tauluissa. Harvassa paikassa on niin upea puutarha kuin Villa Politissa. Allasalueella oli ihana virkistäytyä päivän kaupunkitutustumisen jälkeen.

Hotellihuoneessa oli melko vähän säilytystilaa viikon matkalle. Muutama koukku seinällä olisi jo parantanut tilannetta paljon, jotta esimerkiksi laukut olisi saanut ripustettua seinille. Hotellin ravintolassa on sama ruokalista sekä lounas- että päivällisaikaan. Tämän koimme tylsänä, koska lista oli nopeasti syöty varsinkin kun en syö punaista lihaa.

Easy to park! So good first impressions. We enjoyed our stay very much at this hotel, particularly as when we arrived, they upgraded us to a suite, so felt very lucky. The pool and pool area were very nice to relax in. You can rent pool towels at €5 each, or bring your own. There is a member of staff who also can take orders for food and drink poolside, to add to the enjoyment of relaxing. The staff at the hotel, were always friendly and helpful, whether at reception; breakfast room or generally around the hotel. All contributing to a relaxed stay. The breakfast was of very good quality and something for everyone as in a large variety of choices. There is also an opportunity to dine in their restaurant in the evening.

Be mindful that the hotel is not in the centre of Ortigia, so not as many restaurants within walking distance
