Louis Imperial Beach

This hotel was such a great choice for a autumnal all-inclusive break in the sun for my wife and I. It is not the cheapest option around Paphos but you usually get what you pay for and the value was outstanding. There were so many positives and so few negatives. The room, staff, facilities and especially the stunning buffet style meals were superb (danger of serious weight gain!) It appeared that every room had a balcony to enjoy in either the sun or shade. Two pools, one rectangular for adult swimming, the other rounded - ideal for families to splash around. Lots of sun loungers (with good umbrellas) although there was a little teutonic behaviour of certain people (mostly Brits) getting out very early to reserve the pool side loungers and then coming back to use them much later. The daily maid service in the room (quite rare now) was fantastic as we had a perfect room every day. We hired a car via the front desk (100 euros for 2 days) which was so easy (drop off at the hotel) and enabled us to see much more of Cyprus (Nicosia and the Troodos mountains). The buffet meals were the best I have ever seen (quality and quantity) so every meal eaten outside was a pleasure. And the staff were friendly but hard-working and professional - a wonderful combination. Perhaps the only criticism was the lack of an option to buy decent wine to accompany dinner, although that did not bother us too much. Apparently this hotel is being upgraded to 5 star over the winter, so I am concerned the offer in 2026 may not be much better than now for an extra chunk of money.

Very little could have been better. Perhaps some premium drink options (for a price). Perhaps some hotel loungers close to the beach. Perhaps a TV for sports outside near a bar.

The lack of walk in showers and property rooms need to remodeling considering prices paid. Food was good, however.

Ēdināšana un novietojums ir ok. Ēdienam ir zināma dažādība katru dienu. Mini bārs tiek papildināts un uzkopšana ir ok. Ir divi dažādi baseini - klusais vienā pusē un skaļais otrā pusē viesnīcas ēkai. Līdz ar to ir iespēja izvēlēties kur atrasties. Var arī pie jūras, bet ar peldēšanu jūŗā ir švaki, jo priekšā ir akmeņi un tālāk par vidukli tāpēc netikt.

Viesnīca ir stipri palietota un prasa kārtīgu renovāciju. Izskatās, ka pēdējos gadus tikai pārkrāso veco krāsu, kas rada nolietota inventāra un iekārtojuma iespaidu. Par prasīto cenu tomēr prasītos atbilstošs iekārtojums.

Staff were friendly & helpful, hotel in good location, beach was lovely, didn't use the pool as the sea was so nice. Plenty of sunbeds, garden area was lovely to relax & sunbathe. Drinks served to sunbeds & food was excellent, lots of choice. 2 restaurants were very good.

Nothing really, rooms could do with upgrade but other than that nothing.

People were nice, the swimming pool is big and in front of the beach.

- I had issues with the payment process and the response of the hotel was terrible! Or took a long time, or didn’t reply. I try to communicate through booking.com and it was even worst, they refused to give them any information and I got a reply email when I was there already for a few days. - the cleaning was bad! At the restaurant often the dishes and glasses were really dirty, even with a whole layer of try old food on it. The room cleaning was not good too. - the food is bad! Really bad! Even the drinks were bad! Bad wine, bad juices… - there is only a small number of sun beds at the beach, and it was really hard to find a place there, only payed ones were available. Also, people were reserving seats with towels in the hotel areas starting early in the morning, when I arrive at the swimming pool everything was already taken. The hotel has signs saying they will remove after 1,5 hs if there is no one there, but in reality they don’t do anything.

The service was very good. The drinks and the food are good.
