Valley Inn Shakopee

It was alright the main thing I had was that my room smelled like a swimming pool other than that it was pretty good

It was nice but smelled like cigarette smoke. The beds were very comfortable!

The room was not the cleaniest. Stains on bedspread and towels. Dirt spots on the wall. Felt a bit grimmy.

Small motel. Convenient location. Not much choice for free breakfast. Did not even try it. Room was very clean. Found the outside noises a bit much. There is a gas station directly outside the windows.

It was a clean room. The door to the room stuck but when I called about it, they did fix it. The staff was accommodating but the facilities overall were not great.

It was a very convenient hotel for me. It had easy access which I really liked since I was only doing things in the neighborhood.

Absolutely the worst place I've ever stayed in memory. There was no coffee maker in the room and the coffee bar was only open three hours in the morning so I asked the front desk clerk if they could loan me a coffee pot and the answer was no. Oh well. We went and bought one. Then it came time to shower before bed. The towels were really rough and stiff and slightly sticky, with large yellow stains all over them. When we used them, our skin broke out in a rash of raised red bumps that stung and burned. We dried off with paper towels that I brought with me after that. The bed had little winged bugs in it. The sheets were threadbare with large holes in them, cigarette burns and more yellow stains. The blankets had short black curly hairs on them. The mirrors were very dirty. Water from the shower head poured out in one thick stream, no spray, might as well have been a faucet head. The front dest person was unconcerned with my early departure, never once asked me if I enjoyed my stay or if everything was to my liking, or I would have told him why I left an entire day early: because the idea of "sleeping" another night in that room was something I just didn't want to go through. I will never stay in this hotel again. It was not worth the money. Literally ruined my once a year only vacation.

Absolutely not breakfast for that amount of money but it was comfortable.

Way over priced for not having a hot tub, pool, or no breakfast. Location was good. Disappointed in they never asked how our stay was or didnt say anything just asked checking out and grabbed cards and left nothing else said.

It is a older but clean interior. Building with a little old shakopee charm...
