The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Especially the cleaning staff who always made sure our fridge was adequately stocked with complimentary refreshments. Clean towels and slippers were always waiting for us in our rooms.

JAL hotel was about 10 minutes from Nagano airport. It’s midway between the station and the temple. The hotel was ok and the rooms were also OK: a bit on the small side. The launderette was always crowded or people were using it. Service was also average, your regular business hotel. Glad we only stayed 2 nights

Petite chambre mais tout de même fonctionnel. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est bon mais pas exceptionnel. Tant qu’à manger chinois au Japon …. Sortez et mangez local. Le bar Moët au sous-sol a été une belle découverte pour nous. L’ambiance y est feutrée, nous avions le bar pour nous seuls en début de soirée. La gare n’est pas trop loin ce qui est très pratique.

Easy access - 5 minute walk to the train station, 15-20 min walk to the Senso-ji temple. Clean and all toiletries you might want. Breakfast pretty good, with great views of the city
