Guter Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Stadt und zum Strand. Poolanlage sehr großzügig, schöne Rooftopbar und Restaurant.

Zimmer nicht gut gepflegt, eine Renovierung und Grundreinigung wären angebracht. Matratzen hart und unkomfortabel., da wir vor 6 Uhr Morgens abreisen mussten, gab es einen Frühstück to Go mit. Apfel, Toastsandwich, Wasser und Saft. Das war mehr als minderwertig.

The room was lovely the staff friendly breakfast excellent location perfect! Roof top bar and restuarant also perfect!

We had a two night stay and could not sleep due to terribly loud noise, all through the night. Apparently, just above us, there might have been something like a jacuzzi left on. It always started around 1am in the morning. We complained the first night and reception said that they would look into it, the noise was still going on during most of the morning. Strangely, it was just our room! You could hear it as soon as you opened the door! Honestly, I didn't think it would happen a second night, but it did! We were offered to be moved for our second night....but refused, really didn't think it could possibly happen again....the noise was auful felt like drilling coming through our wall!

Location and view was superb.Room was very comfortable. I would love to visit again and again.

Nothing could be disliked.

The location is terrific, in the heart of Tavira. The views from the rooftop at sunset were lovely. Good massage at the spa.

The swim up pool bar was a lie; we had to get out and walk around to the bar if we wanted a drink. It is not allowed to eat around the pool, either; you are alerted by a member of staff who ‘calls’ to you to come to the eating area away from the pool (we watched them do this to multiple groups of people). The rooftop bar was nice but you are simply paying for the view; the food was fine but not equal to the price. Our room (though a suite) was on the street side and so on top of lacking a view, it was very loud. We heard cars all night. We arrived at 1pm and were sternly told we couldn’t check in until 2pm; fine. But they made us sign a form to allow charging to our room and then made us pay by card for everything, claiming it never worked. I think we managed to charge one thing to the room the entire stay. It makes me nervous to have signed something allowing room charges but then it doesn’t work?? Why was I asked to sign it? The spa was fine but no one used it as a swim cap was required (we didn’t bring swim caps; seems most others didn’t as well). Lastly and most disgusting was finding a used bar of soap in our shower. There are many beautiful hotels in the Algarve and I would recommend checking them out before staying here.
