Americas Best Value Inn La Porte

Was very disappointed in this hotel.. their website is false advertising and cleaning of the room did not happen in the 3 days we were there.

Accidentally mistook this hotel for a Hilton Garden Inn. Its not anywhere near the same quality or comfort. The bed had a huge indentation on one side, and the carpet in the room was quite disgusting. Checked out immediately and spent the night at a different hotel.

Front desk and housekeeping were all very nice, room was clean and comfortable. Bed squeeked a little bit. Windows need to be cleaned bad so if you want to look out the window during your stay this isn't the place. Breakfast was lacking a little bit but overall this place is very nice. I enjoyed my 5 night stay here.

Beds subpar. Basically spring mattress with top padding. Hotel is old but otherwise clean. Wifi spotty. Tv didn't work. Continental breakfast consists of waffles, toast or outdated cereal. Coffee and oj for drink. Staff is friendly however, they do not have much to work with

No ice on third floor. We were short bath towels.

The rooms here are very poor quality. There was an overwhelming smell of mildew, mold, or something similar (I assume, due to the large discolored water stains in the ceiling); the bathroom was disgusting and looked unsanitary;the receptionist admitted that the room that I'd originally booked was "not a very nice room" and attempted to prevent me from leaving by offering to switch my reservation to one of their renovated rooms. The only good thing about the renovated room was that it didn't smell bad,so I immediately turned in the keys not even 10 min sheet I arrived and went to another hotel. No matter your financial situation, please avoid these rooms like the plague and spend a few extra dollars to stay somewhere else.

Room was clean , has fridge microwave and flatscreen tv. Great price with breakfast starting at 5am cause some people ha e to leave early for work.

Overall cleanliness poor. Windows were so dirty you could not see our. No ice available.

staff went out of their way to meet all our needs. room was very comfortable, carpets showed normal wear, but hotel was undergoing renovation at time of our stay. breakfast was good, had waffle machine to make your own waffles and had dry cereal and toast there also. neighborhood was quiet and safe. no pests in hotel. we had a really good stay.

We got a great room price, good clean rooms, stayed few days. Nice friendly service, good location near Highway 146.
