Days Inn by Wyndham Colorado City

The staff we interacted with were wonderful, but the overall experience due to the condition of our room was awful. We arrived with reasonable expectations that we would be staying in an older hotel. Upon walking into our room we notice there is no shower curtain; staff up front was great in getting us a shower curtain right away. Water pressure was horrible, but again we knew this was an older hotel so at least we had a shower & running water in our room. We begin to unpack but notice there is very little light, 3 of the 4 light bulbs in the lamps are burnt out; staff up front was great in getting us additional light bulbs. Upon replacing the light bulbs and turning them on, we become painfully aware of how dirty the floor was; trash around/behind the night stand and TOE NAILS everywhere! We head back up front to request a vacuum cleaner; again staff up front was great, Valerie immediately grabs a vacuum and comes clean our floors. As wonderful as the staff was in taking care of these issues, they shouldn't have had to fix them after we had checked in. I can't see us staying here again and next year we will opt for the KOA or one of the hotels 20 miles up the road.

Convenient location to stay at for State Archery shoot but the cleanliness of the rooms was poor.

This hotel we knew was older but dirty and gross was not expected. Our fridge was obviously not even wiped out as it has hair and crumbs in it. The drawers had candy and crumbs. The AC/heater unit had bolts and someones finger nail clippings on the top of it. It does NOT OFFER breakfast as shown in the pictures on hotels.com- they offer members mark breakfast bars to "grab and go" with the breakfast area closed off. The pool edges are crumbled and not safe for rough and sharp edges.

Small town but nice

Where to start…. The AC barely worked and it’s 95*. The window would not shut all the way. The hot water knob in the shower fell off. The bath tube leaked. The toilet seat looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The towels were stained. I don’t expect much but dang it, this was rough. Not worth the cost.

Rooms were clean and in good shape, beds and pillows were comfortable. The continental breakfast was poor in both variety and quality, the raisins in the RAISIN BRAN CEREAL were as hard as a rock, the breakfast area was unorganized, and held in a large room with only 4 lights illuminated. I overheard multiple guests comment on how poor the choices were. The pool area was dingy and unkept, and the pool was out of order. The night clerk was very helpful, while the day shift clerk was very uninspired. A little effort would go a long way to make the breakfast better.

Check in was easy, staff was very fiendly. Facility was older but well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The facility was nice and quite. I enjoyed them having a food truck in the parking lot made getting supper easy and fun.
