Poor Value. We went on a sunny Wednesday, the service was slow, and two of the four meals arrived 30mins before the other two meals. We found it expensive £63 for one Gammon egging Chips, one Sandwich, and a shared ploughman's for two. It will be a very long time before we eat there again

This is a wonderful place to stay! We were greeted kindly, and treated well! The rooms are lovely, and the common area is so comfortable, and full of books and games.

Another great stay here. Looking forward to staying here again soon.

George was a wonderful host. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had our own bathroom which was nice. No tissues anywhere. George made breakfast both mornings we were there. Would definitely stay here again.

Owner is very friendly and helpful. Do need to drive for food options.

Room was very clean. nice bed linens plus coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. Bring eye mask to sleep here as there are no black out shades. Windows had lace fabric to cover the 3 windows in room. Quiet room, just issue with ambient street light. Breakfast was granola/yogurt plus 2 3-inch pancakes and 2 breakfast sausage links.

Loved the Peacefulness, Breakfast was delicious too.

My husband and I stayed at the Red Lion Bed & Breakfast for two nights, joining my cousin and her husband from Pittsburgh for this long-planned weekend excursion to a local festival. The Red Lion B & B was the perfect setting to catch up and relax. Every detail was pitch-perfect, including the immaculate rooms, fluffy terry-cloth robes for our use, the lovingly restored historical home, and the delicious breakfasts that accommodated our vegetarian diet. The grounds are lovely and blooming, and there are a few pretty chickens in their area with night-time coops to keep them safe. Free parking is available on a corner of the property. George, our host, was so helpful in every way, including assisting us with directions to the interesting center of Lancaster and recommendations for lunch.

Very clean, comfortable, and inviting.Will plan to stay again.
