Pine Hill Residence

This is in a beautiful location and enjoy the view from the cafeteria. We enjoy the breakfast and the pool the most. The staff was very cooperative.

There is no good view from the family room. It is just opening to a partially built neighboring house. There is an issue with hot water in the night. They use solar water heaters and water was not warm in the night.

We stayed there overnight with family and a toddler, and the experience was truly awful. They had a kettle for tea with tea and milk powder, but it was placed under a TV where there was no outlet. The cord was also too short to unplug the TV and plug the kettle We tried plugging the kettle into a different socket using a multi-plug they provided. The plug was loose, and sparks flew. I had to hold the plug in place to keep the kettle on. The bathroom was adequate, but having a shower there felt risky because a power plug was located right next to it. It felt like a disaster waiting to happen, just one water sprinkle away. The balcony door handle was broken, so I had to find a creative way to open it. The area has a lot of mosquitoes. They forgot to close the bathroom window, and in the morning, mosquitoes were feasting on us. When I mentioned it, they said there were plug-in mosquito repellents in the But we never found it, and it wasn't listed in the room brochure. The service staff was respectful and helpful. But I felt like the manager/owner was just doing the minimum to get the money and skip his responsibilities. He was more interested in us doing the checkout paperwork the day before so he could skip coming in early. Overall, this place appears to be simply checking off boxes to achieve a 3-star status. Maintenance is poor, as evidenced by broken taps, switches, loose plugs, and other issues.

The communication was really easy, place modern and clean. The breakfast and dinner were amazing, special score goes for onion soup.

Alojamiento muy limpio con vistas espectaculares. Personal muy atento. Desayuno abundante y rico con posibilidad de comer y cenar. Especial mención a Lakmal por su cercanía y su disposición para ayudarnos con un problema que tuvimos con el coche.

Por mencionar algo, decir que tiene varias plantas, pero no ascensor.
