Comfort Inn Petersburg Fort Lee Area

We were in the midst of a long distance move, towing a UHaul…in the rain…with huge traffic back ups on I-95. The location of the hotel was a perfect stopping point. It was great that they had truck/trailer spots for easy parking. The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Tiffany at the front desk went above and beyond to be helpful and was extremely courteous.

The breakfast was very good and fitted for everyone.

I made my reservation at 2 am for a king suite and paid for it in advance via booking.com, as soon as I arrived in town (after a 6 hour drive) I came directly to the Comfort Inn. As I was attempting to check in, Tiffany, the receipt informed me that she literally just cancelled my reservation by considering me as a "no show". I asked her what I was supposed to do as I have nowhere to go (it's 4 am). My fiance is exhausted and so am I., I am 3 months pregnant as well. The receptionist said that I would have to pay for my room all over again. I cannot afford to do so. I asked her if she could give me my room and she said no they do not even do refunds. So, I've been sitting in the parking lot for the last 30 minutes with a booking.com customer service representative who will not assist me, I asked her if I could speak to a manager or supervisor as she should have been able to book me somewhere else or rebook the room for me. For the last 20 minutes she has had me on hold with 5 minute intervals. In-between the 5 minutes she has said: that the supervisor is just going to tell me what she told me , and then she said give her 5 minutes to see if she can get in touch with the supervisor, and then hold on because the supervisor is on the other line, and then after the last hold I begged her to let me speak to the supervisor and she said she's going to see if I can...... And now I'm on hold again. I'm HIGHLY UPSET AND DISSATISFIED

I need a piece of gause to clean wound and was told did not have a first aid kit.

Sausage was good. the eggs could have been better and refilled quicker as we had to wait until replenished. Tiffany at the front desk was very nice and helpful to recommend a restaurant nearby.

Friendly and helpful staff. Soft sheets and towels! I did not use the pool but it was clean and well kept.

Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet area, friendly staff, decent rates. Rooms could use a bit of a makeover but for what it's worth, Comfort Inn is always a good choice. It lives up to its name.
