It's nice to be in a larger space, especially if traveling with kids. The rooms are all big enough, but size isn't everything. What was lacking was glaringly obvious. The rooms felt old and worn out. Everything looked like it was 30 years old or older. Our dishwasher didn't work well since it only cleaned the bottom rack. Our coffee table was the size of side table for a futon. The beds and pillows were comfy, the showers were big and water hot. The kitchen has everything but a place to prepare food. There's no laundry in the unit, but laundry was free in the laundry room (which I imagine would be a hassle during warmer months). The location was great since it was a short walk to all the local shops, and a short drive to some cool site seeing areas.

My husband and I love staying here for a mini weekend get away. The space is huge and comfy.

The hold is $250 which is insane and wasn't always that price. We also wish there was a few more options in the room for making coffee such a sugar or creamers since it comes with a coffee pot.

Clean

We have stayed at this resort several times and will always come back. The location is great, the service exceptional and the unit was great. Newport is just a great town with so much to do. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub most days and the fire pit on others. Our only complaint this time is that they remodeled the outdoor pool and hot tub and there is no railing to hold onto, to enter the hot tub. As seniors, we felt very uncomfortable getting in and out. We did tell the manager about this and she assured us it is going to be addressed. I hope so. So many places to eat in the area. Just a wonderful week.
