Hampton Inn Hadley-Amherst Area

Very comfortable beds. Room temp perfect. Location close to preferred restaurant. Efficient staff.

The hotel was fine, staff was great, free breakfast a bonus. Coffee and tea any time is available in lobby. The rooms were clean, the hotel needs some sprucing up, starting to show age, especially chairs in lobby eating area. Otherwise it was a good place

BREAKFAST WAS FINE

This hotel is excellent, perfect in every way. It is evident that the management tried very hard to take care of customer needs. I will just list a few (because I could go on and on) the soft towels, plenty of towels, many cups, counter space in both bedroom and bathroom, lotions and soaps good quality, buffet was delicious and many items to pick from. And the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks!

I liked that breakfast was included, I could bring my pet, they had fresh baked cookies and coffee!

I didn’t like the layout of the king suite. A huge desk through the middle of the room, no adequate bureau for putting our clothing. 3 very small baskets in a cabinet for clothing, what a terrible design.

Clean with friendly and helpful staff.

This is a well staffed, well located Hampton Inn but it is sooooooo old and dated. It clearly does well because of its proximity to universities and the cleaning and front desk staff are really good. There's no reason it should be 20 years old without a renovation. Some new carpets, wallpaper removal and bathroom updates would go a long way and this place would go from good to amazing with a little investment. It's adequate if you need to be in the area, but it could be so much better with a little TLC. In its current state, just be aware that it is clean but very, very dated and you will still pay $500+/night if there is any kind of event at one of the schools or in the area.
