"Relaxing spa afternoon"

I had the dry floation treatment & the Freamh full body massage. Zara was my therapist she was absolutely amazing would highly recommend her. As always the staff were 10/10 relaxation room is so serene Castleknock is my favourite spa.

"Be warned - no air conditioning in family room"

I appreciate that it was unseasonably warm but I think knowing this and knowing that our room had no air conditioning the hotel could have done more to make our stay more comfortable. It was a struggle to get to my 7 and 9 year old to sleep in the heat, they did eventually but were awake again at 2am due to the heat. So as a family we had very little sleep. Not a good start when we had planned a busy day of sightseeing. The next morning I asked for more fans but they never arrived.

"Great place, bad experience."

The good: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool, restaurant and grounds were inviting and clean. The place gives you the vibes of an all inclusive resort. The bad: they host weddings here, and our room was right above the reception room. Loud thumping music until 2 AM on Friday and Saturday night. When we complained, their solution was to hand us a pair of earplugs. Also, I accidentally left my Apple watch on the bed (my bad), and it was either scooped up with the laundry or stolen, never to be found. No solutions offered by staff. Will we stay again? Possibly, as the location was just 5 minutes away from family who lives there. More careful room selection next time.
