I was very disappointed that my first room has a noisy neighbor with a loud TV I had to call the manager on my cell phone no phone in the room. The manager came out with the housekeeping man and knock on the neighbors door and no answer. Manager told me in 30 minutes that I had to go to the housekeepers room and tell him to know again. I could not stand the noise so I walked to the office and asked for a new room. I was given a room when the tv only worked on one channel. I went back to the office and was told that the maintenance guy would be back maybe at 10pm to fix it. The housekeeping man came to me and said that room 101 was available but the manager didn’t tell me that. He went and got me the key and helped me move for the second time. As I got in the new room the people in 102 were yelling and screaming with a loud tv, I went back to the office to tell the manager and he told me that I was “lucky” that he had rooms available, which pissed me off. He said they were checking out tomorrow like he wanted me to stay there for the night, I had to get up at 4:30am so I told him give me my previous room back and moved one more time. Not once did the manager offer me compensation or nothing for all the trouble. The next day when I returned from hunting, I moved into room 101 after 102 checked out. I was so disappointed in this stay that I left Sunday morning when I was suppose to leave Monday morning. Am so upset at the lack of care and respect that I received from this place.

Solo trip to spend time in the Hill Country around Camp Wood/Leakey. Modern Motel that was clean. Comfortable bed.

This place is always a great place to stay, owners/employees are very friendly, the only downside of it are the quality of the towels that are very thin. And guests checking in late tend to be very noisy and inconsiderate slamming doors waking people up.

Great stay an easy to get to other places

Stay was great

The rooms were remodeled but the furniture was not updated. The bed was ok. The room was clean, staff were nice and accommodating. But at best a 2-1/2 star rating. It is as good as the what it can be.

The mattress could have been better. The refrigerator made noise all night. The housekeeping kept taking our wash clothes and forgetting to replace them. Need the linens and such to upgraded

Just a perfect bare bones motel. Not a ton of amenities but you can't beat the price.

I was very pleased with my start, check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. I will be returning in December.
