Minshuku Suhara

Hôtes très gentils la maison est grande et tres bien entretenue. La salle de bain tout en bois est charmante. Les lits traditionnels sont confortables.

Bien accueillis par notre hôte qui est très organisé pour présenter le logement. Maison traditionnelle très vaste avec beaucoup de charme. Futons douillets et confortables. Pas de repas ni de petit déjeuner mais il y a un ou 2 restaurants dans le village et une belle cuisine équipée si besoin.

Alles! De sfeer en locatie waren perfect! Alsof je terug in de tijd gaat.

Er was wat nachtvorst en in de keuken kregen we het kacheltje niet aan, dus daar was het erg koud maar daar hoefden we niet lang te zijn.

Bellissimo pernotto in una casa tipica giapponese. Il proprietario molto ben organizzato per il check-in. Consigliatissimo!

The host of this property met us upon our arrival even though we were walking the Nakasendo and weren't exactly sure of our arrival. He was waiting for us to hand over the key and show us around the house. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots and pans which we enjoyed as we were cooking for ourselves. The large supermarket was a close distance from the house and there were umbrellas supplied which was great as it was raining. The bedding was super comfortable.

It would have been good to know that not all the bedrooms are available for use as when you book the house, it appears that all rooms are available.

I loved that even though its an old traditional house, it is very well maintained and has modern facilities. Especially it was really nice that after a long day of walking in the mountains I could come back and take a hot bath.

Experiencing century traditional home that compliments our Nakasendo hike

Not so much as didn’t like but towels are small and thin, and would be good to have some western chairs to accommodate proper sitting for those who have a bad back, but then again this is traditional Japanese home hence my comment not didn’t like but would be good to have just in case
