Outdated inside but still nice

It’s a fairly basic motor lodge. After checking in on the first night, I didn’t encounter anyone else from the hotel during my stay. The mini-fridge was convenient for storing food and drinks.

The WiFi was slow / spotty in the room. The thermostat controls were confusing and it wasn’t clear how to completely turn off the heat OR AC, apart from changing the temperature (this is different from just turning off the whole system, which was clear). On the second night, the family who checked into a room next door was talking loud / playing music at night and didn’t seem to fall asleep until after 3am. I thought I smelled smoke either through the walls or possibly other guests smoking outside on the walkway. I did notice that the neighbors door didn’t have a non-smoking symbol on the door, like with mine. In the future I probably would select a hotel that’s totally non-smoking and not just certain rooms.

The location wasn't bad,we were in town for a concert at AC Boardwalk Hall,which was 15min away by car.our overnight stay was good.The bed was comfortable with clean sheets,there were clean towels in the bathroom,the shower/tub worked fine,and the mini fridge was cold. Plus we had free wifi. There was enough parking and check out was easy.

The room itself is an eyesore.The paint on the walls are cringy looking which gives the whole room a misleading look.
