Beach House Inn

Close to town center and beaches. During check-in, manager offered a free upgrade! What a lovely surprise! My new room had a balcony overlooking an estuary with a delightful view. It also had a propane fireplace. It felt so good on the chilly evenings. There was also a huge soaking tub. I haven't felt this pampered in a long time!

I have nothing negative to say.

Location is excellent, bathroom and sheets were clean, The rooms have a balcony opens toward a lake/river, which is very nice. Adequate paring spaces.

No other amenities such as exercise room or restaurant. The drawers had dust and hair in them, so we did not use them. Although there is a sign for cleaning request, you have to ask the concierge otherwise the rooms would not be cleaned throughout your stay, not even every other day. The made will not do it unless told by the managers, so coffee and sweetners are not provided by the made, although you can get as much as you want from the office.

The property was recently remodeled, however they chose not to upgrade or replace the mattresses and the mattresses are trash. All four of the people in my party couldn’t sleep unfortunately they have the worst mattresses and that’s really important.

Pillows were hard and lumpy. Fridge wasn’t working at all.
