"A great Inn in a great location"

Our stay at the America's Cup Inn could not have been better. The room was comfortable and in a perfect location. We were on the first floor by request, and it was quiet and close to parking. The room was spotless and exactly what we wanted. It is walking distance to Thames St. and the docks, and great restaurants. The breakfast buffet was just perfect, with fruits, yummy breads, meats and eggs. The staff was great as well, and communication was excellent before we arrived, as I had a few questions. Don't hesitate to book this great inn, you won't be sorry. We will be back!

Wonderful staff and service! Rooms are very clean and nice but on the smaller side which is to be expected in the heart of downtown in an older building. This is an older building in very good shape but no elevator or any modern hotel amenities like a gym. Walkable location to most anything you would need in the downtown area. Free off season parking in public lot accross the street, in season parking would be tight and $30 a night in the lot. Excellent continental breakfast. America’s Cup Inn will be our new go to during our off season visits, we don’t go to Newport in season anymore, way too crowded. If traveling to town for a graduation on base, you would need to drive, the base is accross town.
