Putih DCarik Ubud

It was very quiet and comfortable. Nice view on the rice fields. Good coffee and breakfast. At the beginning I was a bit stressed because of the distance between the main streets. The site says that the place is in downtown but it's not really. But after I didn't mind really and I liked that I could have nice walk through the fields.

A bit the location but is fine

Location, staff, proximity to Sweet Orange Cafe. The layout, decor and view from the villas was superb. Suksma Putih DCarik 🙏

Everything was great

Die Unterkunft war mitten in einem Reisfeld sah mega schön aus. Die Mitarbeiter waren super super freundlich und haben auch jeden Tag sauber gemacht.

Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist katastrophal. Man musste die Koffer über einen Kilometer einen steilen Weg hoch tragen. Die Hotel Mitarbeiter hätten aber einen die Koffer mit dem Roller hochgefahren hätte man vorher bescheid gegeben, also ruft am besten vorher da an oder schreibt denen eine Nachricht. Auf dem Rückweg wurden uns die Koffer nähmlich bis zur Hauptstraße gefahren ☺️

- Good view of the rice fields. - Affordable price. The staff, especially the owner, were exceptionally kind and accommodating. He did everything he could to make sure the stay was comfortable. He goes out of his way to take care of his customers. If you stay here I think for the view the 2nd floor rooms are the best. The place seems to be run by a family who do their best to accommodate you and make you feel comfortable.

I think this was more about me no researching the area better. - Access to the hotel is very difficult. There are many tiny side roads that one must take to reach the hotel. Which are really challenging. The hotel staff take you into the city center when you want via scooter. But if you want to shop and carry many things, this could be challenging as cars cannot access this hotel. Also, the incline of one of the hills is pretty steep. I think I wouldn't recommend this place for older folk looking for a comfortable stay. The commute is tough. - The rooms are damp. This could be a symptom of most of the hotels in Ubud. I am sensitive to damp/mold and ended up getting sick. But the hotel changed my room twice and upgraded me to the Villa to help with this. As I said, they go out of their way to help. - The black dog on the property is bothersome. He looks like he may have fleas so it felt uncomfortable that he would follow you around or come sit next to you any chance he got. He also barked a lot at strangers so, I didn't enjoy the dog, despite being a dog lover. - It's not private enough: the shared pool is open to the main side access road. So anyone can walk by. I didn't end up using it. And every room entrance is opened facing the private access roads and the rice fields.

I loved my stay so much, especially the balcony room. Sitting outside, looking over the rice fields, was incredibly relaxing. Joni and his staff were so kind and helpful at all times – you really feel taken care of here. The place is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, surrounded by rice fields. In the evenings, when it gets dark and the fireflies start glowing, it feels really special. At the same time, it’s still close to the center, which makes the location perfect. I already can’t wait to come back and I already stayed twice:)
