I nice, easy stay. The property was quiet and relaxing. Management of the property is on top of every situation. Front desk was empowered to make decisions.

Location

This hotel was well maintained, and they provided hotel guest well. The hotel was clean and well organized. It was also close to city center to easily walk but far enough away to avoid the traffic that you see in popular tourist areas. We would definitely recommend your stay. It was easy to park and navigate to and from the hotel.

Very convenient location. Very spacious rooms and friendly staff. Beds were good too. However checkin was at 4pm though so that was bit of a drag. And bathroom supplies were minimum basic for the price we paid. Also it's just the rain shower.

We have stayed here many times back when it was Lexington and the current Rockwell. The rooms are amazing w/ ave breakf. Sadly the front desk service has dropped in quality which starts the experience less than favorable for how expensive this hotel is. They need to bring back the way Lexington did things with a more personal feel. I arrived around noon and understand the room may not be ready as it was not. But no effort was made to ask cleaning to work on a room for guests that have arrived. I am not the only one that had this issue when i was checking in others had the same experience. Also they would not call me to say when the room was ready, they said to keep calling. I was told if they did this for me they had to do it for everyone... that's my point they should do it for everyone. Several different front desk people said it would not be ready until 4 when i called every half hour. Finally i just went back to the hotel at 3 and found a room was ready. They need to get up to speed and have software that notifies when a room is ready like all other quality hotels. Lastly, i explained i was with my 85 year old dad and really wanted to get him in a room to rest. I was told i could sit him in the lobby and i could go in town and they would give him a room key when ready. This is borderline an insane statement and thing to do. Who in their right mind would suggest this as an option and let alone do this. I will return to this hotel but expect to see improvements at the desk.

The hotel was nice and the location was great.

For the exorbitant price we paid, I expected a 5 star hotel. It was a motel. The room smelled terrible from the strange cleaning product they use. It was so strong that it smelled like it was covering something up. The pillows were all very thick which was uncomfortable. The complimentary breakfast was just okay. The front desk folks were very nice.
