"For the price, you can do better"

6.0

Unimpressed. Yes, it was a suite, but a very small one at that. Breakfast starts at 7; it is 7:15 and still not open for business. No smell of cooking food as well. For the price, they could do better. I will say the room was clean and beds were comfortable.

"Nice stay"

8.0

The hotel is expensive like everything in the town but you know that going in. The location is great as you can walk to everything. My view was the rear parking lot so that wasnโ€™t great. The people were super nice. The rooms are large and were very clean. And itโ€™s a quiet hotel for sleeping.

"Rude and unhelpful front desk"

2.0

Horrible... keys don't work EVERY DAY and the gentleman downstairs (said his name is Craig) on Monday at 7pm-7:45pm is very rude, disrespectful and unhelpful... we had to visit the front desk many times a day because of this issue.... have been staying in Hilton since 25 years ago but never like this in fact. Digital key? Doesnโ€™t work, physical card keys? None of them work (we initially got 2). This is ok. We just need to visit the front desk for help as the Hilton app suggests , right? Wrong!! First, no one was there at the front desk on Monday at 7pm when I first approached. Imagine after a whole day of trails and no one was there to help. Then after trying all my keys again and again running up and down (none of them work), I went to the side of the front desk shouting many times โ€œI need help!โ€ Eventually there was this guy coming out from a secret room to the front desk. This was where the whole nightmare started. Very rude. Very rude when a customer is asking for help many times in person but is ignored. It has nothing to do with my profession or the room rate (expensive, being $800 or $900 a night). It has a lot to do with his attitude when their system is broken or at the very least bothering customers to run up and down like this. They should try that 10+ times for trying to get into own rooms then being treated by this guy like this! . Horrible. How many times did I tell the guy, "I need help"? More than 3 times probably. But , he just kept ignoring and questioning me back with do you need help?? how many times did he question me back, "Do you need help? " maybe 3? 5 times? Iโ€™m already showing the cell phone screen!! Of course we needed help! Or why would I be at the front desk? ; Then, how many times did I try to pass the guy the Useless key card but got ignored ? 4? 5? Better check that video recording! lol. Maybe their management can see and count better. Whatโ€™s worse, with his unwillingness to help, the digital key was still not working after I left the front desk โ€ฆ but only shortly. I had to come back again since it was still not working!! โ€ฆ geez very good workout after a tiring day. Then, even after I showed him my cell phone screen (saying no work, contact front desk) and told him, โ€œthis is not funnyโ€ , he kept saying many times โ€œdo you have a problem?โ€ โ€œWhatโ€™s your problem?โ€ WOW , this is so unprofessional to its extreme. What really surprised me was his attitude. Seriously, thinking back, maybe it should be me asking, โ€œWhat is your problem??โ€ Guess what? The digital key still didnโ€™t work after him saying he fixed it, sending another code whatever. Next morning, no, still didnโ€™t work. But this front desk personโ€™s ill-mannered attitude is what really pisses me off. To be fair, the room is okay and other staff members are nice. But if factor in how you may be treated rudely like this with a small issue of malfunctioning keys โ€ฆ I guess Iโ€™m only glad that I advised my friends to stay at a different place for this trip.

Tony is the BEST @ the Front Desk! Greeted me so kindly & had so many GREAT suggestions on what to do in town & in the hotel! Warm breakfast everyday 6:00 to 10:00. A very nice one. Indoor pool & spa. The rooms are clean & spacious! Close to everything in the main town.

"Nicely remodeled - excellent location"

10.0

We were very pleased with this hotel for our 5 night stay. The location is ideal, and they have recently undergone some renovations, so our room was nicely updated. We had a 2 room suite with fireplace - which we never used the fireplace as it was unusually warm while we were there. Breakfast was decent, not spectacular, but it did the job and there was always fresh fruit everyday. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind. I especially liked that they offered free water bottles and didn't charge us for that. We used points for our stay, but I did see what the nightly rate was for June, and I thought it was extremely high - but I guess all of Jackson is expensive in the summer. Only feature I thought this hotel is missing, is a larger lobby area to hang out and relax in. Otherwise great stay, and I would stay here again if the price was right or if I had points to use.

"Underwhelmed Overall"

6.0

If I was rating on location alone this would be a 5--Jackson awaits you right outside their doors, But alas, there is more to a hotel than location. Traveling for my birthday and unbeknownst to me my partner had called ahead and they were very kind in leaving a basket of huckleberry goodies and a card. The room was an upgrade from what was booked but besides the wonderful window--as seen in the picture attached--the rest of the room was tired, dark, and well worn. The bedroom--this was a one bedroom suite--was claustrophobically small and dark and seemed to echo the all night sound of slamming doors in the hallway. This lack of sleep was punctuated by breakfast in a tight room and non-functional hot tub we'd hoped to enjoy before heading to our next location. Front desk staff was less than enthusiastic and just didn't stand-up to the service level I've come to enjoy at Hiltons. You'll read complaints about the $19 parking but I appreciated being able to be off-street and covered.

"Homewood Suites Jackson Hole WY"

10.0

First I would like to recognize Heidi! She checked us in and was very helpful all during our stay. She went above and beyond what I would think is her role at the front desk ( running up and resetting breakers every time someone did laundry!) Heidi is a perfect example of what Hilton should expect for their employees. Tony was at the desk during the evenings. He is very nice and he also provides great service. Hilton is very lucky to have Heidi and Tony. This Homewood suites is within walking distance to the town square, restaurants, shops, etc. it was a perfect location for us. It was quiet at night. It does have a fireplace. The rooms have been upgraded. Rey niceโ€™ There was coffee available. We enjoyed the evening cookies too! There is construction happening now and parking was challenging at times. We really like this hotel and hope to revisit.

"Not really worth the price being asked for these rooms (in dollars or points) at this time"

6.0

So, ouch. Iโ€™m a total died-in-the-wool Hilton fanatic, and I rarely have cause to complain about any stay whether it is a Home2 or a resort property. This stay, though, was troubling. This is NOT a resort property and the parking lot is just space behind the hotel. At $19 per night. Self parking, insufficient parking, lot being sealcoated. $19 per night. We had to walk to dinner the 2nd night because the 1st night we left for an hour and when we returned at 6pm we got the LAST space. Ummm. $19 per night. Next, we found out AFTER leaving things in our room and leaving that 1st evening that closing our door (even slamming the door) did not latch it. Only about 30+ pounds of lift on the handle of the closed door would latch it. Front desk seemed rather non-plussed by this revelation of a major security issue. Next, the blackout shade in one room just fell during our stay. We notified the front desk when it started and was asked โ€œHow did THAT happen?โ€ Ummm, you tell me? And no offer to come try to fix it or anything. And, finally, it was in the 20s overnight. Heat did not work. Thankfully, the suite had a fireplace. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice. Room was clean and quiet. Fridge was cold. Staff was friendly if not particularly responsive to the room problems. This property is undergoing a renovation and this may explain some or all of the issues experienced.
