Cute and close to everything.

The location was phenomenal, right next to the downtown in a very walkable area. The bed was comfortable, and there were several heating/cooling options for the temperature. The inn itself is gorgeous on the outside and there are two beautiful outdoor terraces you can enjoy.

There were some bugs and grime in the bathroom, and the overall lighting in the room was very cold and harsh. Also a total of two pillows and no extra blankets in the room.

Enjoyed the building and lobby decor - historic.

Room in need aid minor repairs. But was comfortable and clean. Great hot water and water pressure.

This is the fourth time we've stayed here.. The owner was personable and polite. He obviously cares about the property since he was having the main floor hallway professionally painted on the afternoon that we arrived. I appreciate his commitment to providing future guests with a great experience. However...

Unfortunately, because of the painting, we were not able to check in to the ADA compliant room, 2 queen bed room that we had booked and prepaid $173 for. He tried to offer an upper floor room, but the ADA needs made that impossible. He suggested that we could get our money back from Booking and look elsewhere for a room which seemed like him turning his problem into our problem. He then offered a single queen room on the first floor and that he would wave the $20 pet fee for the inconvenience. I asked about the price differential between the two room and never got a satisfactory answer. Looking at the Booking site for tomorrow night instead, I see that the single queen room is $101 rather than the $173 that I already paid, so I have overpaid $71 for a room which is workable, but not ideal. Only after we unpacked, did we realize that there are no grab bars in the bathroom. I was even unable to access the ice machine (which is in the just painted hallway), and had to go back into town to buy a bag of ice. Most disappointing,, is the fact that we made the reservation several days ago and clearly specified that we were booking the ADA room. It is a failure in management to have accepted the Booking if the room rented was going to be unavailable for the night specified.
