Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Jenks by IHG

My day was OK. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The lock was sticking on my hotel door. And there was a big gash in the bathtub. That was patched over and looked like a job that a nine year-old would do. You don’t patch bathtubs in a hotel you patch bathtubs in your own residence. If I wanted to go to a hotel that had patch bathtub, I sure wouldn’t be paying what I paid to stay here. I didn’t know what they used to patch it with and didn’t know if I could soak in my bathtub with that patch like that so I had to go elsewhere to take a shower and did not ever get to take a hot soaking bath, besides that they hid the hot chocolate in the room with the food instead of having it out with the coffee. I plan on staying at this hotel again and I am hoping that my room will look like the price that I pay for it.

The staff is really nice and helpful. But most do not speak English and it was difficult to ask for something from Housekeeping.

Our room smelled strongly of dog or cat. There was a strong odor in the room. The carpets were very stained and it did not feel clean.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite good. Will stay here again!

Lovely facility. Easy check in. Comfortable rooms.

Everything was clean and worked. Need bell or something at front desk to call staff for help.

The only issue was check-in was at 3 but we had to wait until about 4 due to rooms being cleaned.

How close it was to the Aquarium.

We arrived at the property around 5 pm and checked in. We got up to the room and it looked like the last people had literally just walked out. We told the front desk and he advised that the house keep stated it was clean but upon asking her, she still had three rooms to do before our room. So we ended up sitting in the breakfast area for over an hour and a half before we were even able to go in our room. The elevator feels like it is going to fall every time it moves. The breakfast was amazing though!

Bathroom fan didn’t work and wasn’t repaired during our stay despite our request. Otherwise good value.

Property is in need of a major face lift. Very run down!
