Acrotel Porto Brava Luxury Villas

I like everything, maybe the best holiday I’ve had

The only thing I recommend is to put shower head holder in the bathrooms, because it is difficult to take a shower with one hand.

This is a very modern, attractive villa and parking is connected to your villa. The bedrooms were a good size for our adult children. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking up breakfast or a quick snack, provisions were bought by us. Towels for the beach were provided and changed every 2 days. The maid service was prompt, friendly and informative of the area. You will be in the center of the small area of Ormos Panagias. You will be within 1 minute walking distance of 3 restaurants, a small grocery store, and a good pastry shop or 5 minutes to a restaurant up the hill from town. Some of the boat excursions will leave from the tiny harbor right there, so it is very convenient for that. It is a 18-20 minute walk to 3 excellent beach bars on the southern part of gorgeous Trani Ammouda beach. Before those 3 bars, there is family friendly area that is closest with a large inflatable water park area for the kids to play on. You will need a car to access other towns or beaches. But they will be within 15-25 minutes on that side of the peninsula. This was a convenient, modern place to stay as we travelled up and down the peninsula. We would come back again.

Not the fault of Acrotel, but we had severe food poisoning at one of the 3 restaurants. The pool that is part of the complex has black mold growing in much of the grout and I suspect the pool is not treated/chlorinated regularly. One of the toilets in our villa did not drain well after flushing and the bathroom smelled of urine all the time even after the lovely maid service was done with it. The villas have another two other non Acrotel apartment complexes around it and the loud music played by vacationing guests after 1-2 am was a bit much. It affected mainly the back 3rd bedroom and less so at the front two bedrooms.

Great spacious house. Comfortable beds, AC in all rooms and public areas. very clean and spacious kitchen fully equipped. Good WIFI. Dishwasher & washing machine. Close to a small beach and 8 minutes to a very nice beach with many activities for kids. We used the pool a lot. We got a basket full of beverages and fresh fruit.

Porches are very close to other homes. We smelled the smoking from our neighbors so we didn't feel comfortable to sit outside. Showers are the only thing o would call out as uncomfortable, they're small, shower head is handheld only and there is no shower curtain. Very poor planning. Missing shampoo ( there was soap and conditioner) Check in and out is 10 minutes driving distance and not onsite. Overall it's a great place and I would recommend it.

I loved our Villa! It was fully equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. Only a few steps from the pool and the local bars and taverns which was a major plus! I will definitely come back

I appreciated the concept of small pool in every bathroom and that ecological thinking about making sure that after every shower you take the room is fludded with water. It required my family to use all available towels to dry the floor every day. We loved that the trash cleared every two three days. I helped us being creative about where to store our garbage. Not having anyone available in the reception for the entire days during our entire stay was very helpful. The smell of fried fish every noon and evening from the restaurant kitchen next door directly into our rooms was a unique experience. The room was new and comfy, but for this price, there are bette alternatives.

No breakfast

The rooms are not clean enough. There are too many ants inside and the bathroom smelled awfull.
