Yellow Bird Hotel

This place the Yellow Bird Hotel St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church Barbados is little piece of paradise. We arrived on the 9th for 9 days for my partner’s 60th birthday celebration and was met with a lovely warm welcome after a very long flight by a lovely lady on reception called Monique whom got us all checked in, in no time whatsoever. We we’re then taken to our room on the top floor room 405 by a young guy called German whom was ever so polite and helpful and really hardworking, the room had a perfect view of the sea with a lovely bottle of red wine awaiting for us which was a lovely touch from the team at the Yellow Bird. Our whole stay there was perfect with the help of all the Yellow Bird staff which nothing was ever any trouble even when we needed a replacement iron for the room or information about where to go and getting around Barbados as this was our first time on the island. A special mention goes out to a wonderful lady called Michelle on reception who was always there to help us whenever we needed advice on anything at all and is an absolute credit to the Yellow Bird Hotel and we will hopefully see Michelle again upon our return Barbados at the Yellow Bird hotel in the hopefully very near future. And also a big thank you to the Bar guy Irvine and all the bar and kitchen team run by Cheryl -Ann for their complete hospitality at On The Bay restaurant. A big thank you to the maids for keeping our room 405 spotless and to an extremely high standard every single day that we were there. We salute you Yellow Bird will certainly be seeing you all again! Absolutely loved our stay in yellow bird the staff are absolutely amazing I can’t fault anything about this hotel we stayed in room 405 and we will be back 2027 to stay again I enjoyed everything about Barbados it was our first time now after meeting everyone in the yellow bird I wouldn’t go anywhere else my love to you all thank you for everything xx love Trisha & Paul xxx

Stayed for 2 wks and everything was perfect.From the Staff to the food, we enjoyed every moment of it.Shanice even recomend a desert for my wife with a rum sauce, my wife cant stop talking about that desert,thanks Shanice.Will like to also say a big thank you to Sonia in housekeeping,Monique,irvin,Dashawn,Michelle,Jamal,Anderson and all the other staff members I didn't get their names.We enjoyed our stay very much and hooe to see you all again in the future.

I visited yellow bird hotel, tried the cheesecake and it clicked! 😋 I really enjoyed the cheese cake and I'm look forward to coming back.

Conveniently located in St. Lawrence Gap, this clean, modern facility is staffed by a wonderful, helpful group of employees whose efforts make your stay truly enjoyable. Monique or Michelle are at reception to greet you and help you get oriented. There are four floors and each had a small private balcony. The rooms are very clean and have all the expected amenities. There is no elevator however Anderson or Jamel will happily carry your luggage to whichever floor/room you have reserved. Cheryl and Sonia also made us feel at home during our stay. There is restaurant in the hotel as well as a bar. Numerous other eating establishments are within easy walking distance in The Gap. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay at the Yellowbird on our next visit to Barbados.

The room was clean

The room was large and clean and all the staff was very helpful. Restaurant options were well priced and offered good value. We thought that the hotel was on the beach but it is actually across the road from a small beach and we were advised that it was not a good beach for swimming. Only negative is that check-in is not 24 hours and it felt a little shady when we arrived around 11pm. The security officer however did an excellent job welcoming us and getting us acquainted with our room. Great value for the cost,,, just really should not be considered beachfront.
