Parkhotel Luise

Eigentlich ein tolles Hotel, aber.... Habe ausdrücklich Hotel mit Dampfbad gesucht, da finnische Sauna zu heiss für mich ist, ich aber aus gesundheitlichen Gründen auf Wärme angewiesen bin. Beim ersten (und leider letzten (Besuch der Wellness-Anlage hiess es dann, Dampfbad sei schon seit Monaten ausser Betrieb. Keine Bio-Sauna mit gemässigter Temperatur vorhanden, aber leider war auch der Pool zu kalt. Damit wär's dann gewesen mit Wellness. Die zusätzlichen Kosten für einen Besuch in der öffentlichen Therme habe wir uns gespart. Schade. Meine Reklamation hat uns aber ein sehr gutes Nachtessen eingebracht. Das Hotel hat sich hier erkenntlich gezeigt, wir haben dies sehr geschätzt, Danke! Morgenessen und das Nachtessen jeweils als Büffet sehr sehr gut! Schade, dass dann so Kleinigkeiten wie Cappuccino anstatt Aufbrühkaffee extra kosten. Ebenfalls extra sind Bademantel und Saunatuch zu bezahlen (was in unserem Fall besonders "tragisch" war, da wir Mantel und Tuch bezogen haben, bevor wir bemerkten, dass die Wellness-Anlage für uns nicht sinnvoll nutzbar war). Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist "gewagt". Sehr viele (tolle!) Designelemente, dann aber leider grad im 10er-Pack aufgestellt. Das ist zu viel des Guten! Und die Stühle im Restaurant sehen zwar toll aus und sind auch sehr bequem, brauchen aber extrem viel Platz und erschweren das Durchkommen vom Büffet zum Tisch recht stark. Fazit: irgendwie zwiespältig aber doch haben wir uns insgesamt wohl gefühlt!

Es war kein Wellnesshotel ! Pool zu kalt und zu klein, nur eine Sauna ( Dampfbad seit MONATEN defekt),kein Wirlpool (sollte beim Wellness dabei sein),im Bad keine Heizung , Bad in desaströsem Zustand,einzelne Betten die auseinanderdriften,Garagenstellplätze kosten Geld was nicht aufgeführt wurde , Stellplätze zu klein und nicht ausreichend ! Keine Massage möglich da ständig alles ausgebucht (Personal zu wenig ? ) NIE WIEDER

Great location

This hotel was lovely and our room was large and clean. Parking was terrible. There is a loading/ off loading spot outside the front doors. We parked there to check in, and I asked about where to park. The front desk lady, was nice and handed me a map of a parking lot that was pretty far, it was two roads over and at the bottom of a large hill. When I drove there, that lot was mostly full as well. When I got back to the hotel I saw that there was a parking garage under the hotel. I did not see anyone at the front desk to ask about it when I came back. The next morning at check out, the new front desk lady asked me if I had parked in the garage so she could add that fee to the bill. I told her no, I was not informed of the parking garage and I would have loved to have used it. One of the reasons I picked this hotel as it said there was easy parking. So, I am pretty disappointed in that. I had my infant and all of here things that she requires to move around. When I left the parking spot at the loading spot (which the check in lady said we could not park at over night) someone took my spot. When we left in the morning all the cars that were parked there “temporarily “ we’re still there including the car that took our spot. I would have stayed there had I know no one was going to enforce the rules.

136 rooms and reception is closed at 21 hrs which is unbelievable strange. Rooms contains very old furniture and inefficient lay out. No climate control ( very nice during hot summer night. Expensive in relation to comfort. Nice location and breakfast was ok.

L'albergo in sé è molto bello, con ampie sale ristoranti molto accoglienti; peccato che durante la giornata i bar non siano sempre aperti, rendendo meno piacevole passare il tempo nella hall o nella bella terrazza. La camera carina, ma sarebbe utile qualche servizio in più, magari una cassaforte ed un frigobar. Il bagno è terrificante: sembra uscito da un incubo degli anni '80, buio grazie anche alle orribili piastrelle marroni e con la vasca da bagno invece della doccia, con una tenda di dubbia igiene. Nemmeno un servizio di cortesia, meno che mai le ciabatte. Nel complesso, da migliorare molto i servizi della camera, che contrastano molto con il resto dell'albergo. Nota dolente: all'arrivo ho trovato della pipì nel water ed il posacenere (fuori, sull'ampio balcone, molto piacevole) pieno di mozziconi di sigaretta. La camera non era stata rifatta a dovere.

We arrived around 9:30 pm after a 12 hour drive. Parking was a nightmare, found only one spot left and it was so narrow, I had to crawl out of the trunk to get out. Staff was unsympathetic and offered no options/alternatives thus I had to do it. I asked about street parking and their answer was that I had to figure it out myself. By time we arrived, restaurant was still open but closed for new orders. Asked for alternative dining in town, told me to look it up myself online, even though I explained to them I didn’t speak German. Room extremely dated, weeds growing on balcony between tiles, room and bathroom cleanliness questionable, beds very uncomfortable… and the list goes on. Online this place looks great, in person you can tell hay day was in the 80’s

Das Personal war sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und sehr ausreichend. Wir konnten es sehr gut genießen. Das Zimmer ist veraltet und müsste aufbereitet sein.

The room was very old.

Very nicely renovated hotel but the structure is old. Because of this the rooms are not very well isolated and thus noisy. All other areas are very nice.
