The hotel was beautiful and very well furnished in the main areas. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was massively overpriced in the restaurant For what it was. No amenities in the room. Everything had to be requested. Breakfast was lovely. Overall good experience

I had a room-booking issue but the manager interfered and solved it. The hotel is clean and warm. The breakfast is good. A self-made coffee machine in the breakfast area would be a good idea for coffee lovers.

"Not the usual German hospitality"

Reception was not hospitable. And I had to wait in line for almost 45 minutes. I asked for a quiet room and was put in a room beside a room with a crying baby. Receptionist was also impolite. Rooms were big but, no minibar, not even a bottle of welcome water. I booked the biggest and most expensive room in your website and was given one of the old rooms, not the newly renovated ones. There were debris coming out of the shower head. This should not have 4-star rating. I will not be staying here again.

"Very nice setting in a very nice little town."

Could not stay in Karlsrhue for two nights in the middle of a business trip due to full hotels. This place was very peaceful, about 30 minutes from Karlsrhue. Bad Herrenalb is a small town at the edge of the Black Forest. Beautiful setting. Easy walking distance to good restaurants.
