Wir mussten spontan eine Nacht in Malmö verbringen und fanden zufällig das Hotel. Das Hotel ist etwas "altmodisch" aber sehr gemütlich. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück das beste, das wir in einem schwedischen Hotel bekommen haben. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt in Malmö das Hotel wieder buchen.

This is a wonderful hotel. It is still privately owned, and not part of a large chain. It has character, personality and charm. The rooms have actual keys. To turn the lights on does not require an iPad. The windows open. The housekeeping is unpretentious. The history of the building is fascinating. The decoration is individual and the hotel art collection adds another layer of interest. More practically, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast very good, the staff delightful and very helpful and the location is perfect for the centre, railway station etc.

There was nothing about the hotel I did not like. The only negative was the noise of a couple of loud drunks singing outside in the early hours and the crash of empty bottles being collected at dawn... But it is a city centre. And it was midsummer...

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das ganze Haus strahlt Ruhe und Behaglichkeit aus, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. In der Bibliothek, im good old english style, können kostenlos Tee und Biskuits genossen werden und man kann sich da wunderbar erholen nach dem sight seeing. Das Frühstück im rustikalen Kellergewölbe lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof war für mich als Interrailreisende ein weiterer Pluspunkt. Jederzeit immer wieder gerne.
