The location is wonderful. Just amazing right on the beach. They outdoor pool was kept clean and beautiful. Our rooms were nice and fresh and clean. The outdoor deck area was clean.

The breakfast in the morning was doable. Enough to start your day. However, there was hardly any teabags there for morning tea. Nor was there any orange juice the machine had a piece of blue tape covered over it. Also, the hot tub was out of order. The elevator was very dirty each time we went up and down for days. The TV and the telephone in our room did not work. The front desk was told about it. I didn’t care for the way, it seemed the maintenance was no longer a priority.We have stayed there many times before hopefully they will be able to rectify this situation. We do you want to continue to stay there again, so hopefully things will be in better shape in the following visits . I would hate to see it become rundown.

Location, cleanliness, continental breakfast was very nice and well stocked with multiple choices. Bed was comfy.

Very thin walls/floors. Could hear everything from neighboring rooms, we had some very noisy neighbors, every single night up until midnight. Heavy walking/running and loud talking. Witnessed one of the employees saving a parking spot for friends with orange cones. Assigned parking according to rooms may be a good idea.

Right on the ocean, I thought our room had a balcony facing the island but it doesn’t, so I was disappointed in that.

I would probably book with Ocean Isle Inn next time just because it was a little bit nicer.
