Nice location by the sea but quite a long walk into the centre. The hotel is very tired and in need of refurbishment. Firmly geared towards the older generation rather than families.

Brilliant in every way ! Cant fault it. Loved the rooms, loved the food, loved the staff and their professionalism. Had the most incredible week holiday with the family, and cant wait to go back.

This is one of the best hotels in the island and deserves its 5 star rating. The hotel is airy, spotless and well provided with all the amenities that anyone wanting a relaxed beach Holiday could ask for. While the hotel beach front is a little rocky it is possible to swim if the pier steps safely without the Royal of being bowled over by the surf.
