The Y Hotel

Good location, friendly, clean

Excellent in every way! First, the hotel thoughtfully arranged all of my families rooms next to one another. Second, they provided a baby bed as promised. Third, breakfast and evening dinners were delicious. Fourth, the concierge arranged three days of tours plus all taxi transportation. Special thanks to Eleni! Fifth, the hotel neighborhood is delightful and within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and metro. Next year, my family and I will definitely stay at the Y Hotel!!!

After a two year absence, I stayed at the Y hotel again. Very glad to report that the service is even better than before. The staff was exceptionally supportive and helped in navigating the Covid-19 travel requirements. They arranged for a nurse to come to the hotel to do the PCR test and then printed that evening the results form. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices, many offered as individual portions.

Staying at Y Hotel was such a pleasure. Everything about it was perfect. First of all the service is fantastic. The staff at the reception, but also throughout the hotel, is so helpful and polite. They deal with all requests immediately and efficiently. The decor, the cleanliness, the comfort, the amazing breakfast, the lovely music, the extremely comfortable beds and the fact that it is located in Kifissia, one of the nicest, most upmarket, safe areas in Athens, are just some of the things I feel I have to mention. By car it takes about 30 to 45 mins to drive to the center of Athens, depending on the traffic. The shopping area of Kifissia has many upmarket stores and there are many lovely cafes and restaurants. The train station is a 15 min walk from the hotel and the metro goes direct to Monastiraki and Piraeus. Kifissia is well known for how beautifully green it is. It really is a hotel I would highly recommend and there is no doubt in my mind that anyone who does stay will be as satisfied as we were. We thank everyone for making our stay so comfortable and happy. You definitely deserve a score of 10 out of 10 !!!

Am only repeating what others have written but this is a superb boutique hotel in Athens’ very upscale neighborhood of Kifissia. Tastefully decorated and located in a quiet street; the service is also genuinely lovely. Staff and management should be congratulated for creating a truly welcoming and hospitable environment. Just around the corner are a collection of great boutiques and fantastic eateries. The only tiniest fly in the ointment was a problem with ropey wifi on our floor but staff assured us it would be fixed. Still cannot recommend this hotel enough. We will be heading back for sure.

Nice hotel in a green tranquil street walking distance from the center of Kifissia. Comfortable and clean. Wonderful shower. The staff is fantastic. Polite, professional, friendly and genuinely kind. They went out of their ways to make my stay absolutely comfortable. I strongly recommend it.

Amazing spot in the centre of Kifisia. The neighborhood is very safe. The hotel itself is very nice and modern. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always very polite. What else to ask for:) Thank you!

This is not a hotel, this is home away from home but better! The location, the fixtures, the bedding, the ambience, the breakfast all contribute to that feeling. However, the staff, the team they make the whole difference. They feel like distant relatives that are genuinely happy to see you but also very efficient. Special thanks to Chrysa, the fearless leader with the beautiful sense of humour even under pressure. Eirineos, lovely name, for the warmest smile and everyone at the reception. Also the catering staff, thanks Monica for keeping it happy and the chamber maids, Maria gracias ! I can’t wait to see you again!💕
