"White Lion Review"

Friendly staff, nice room, great food, good shower, nice toiletries and coffee in room

The mattress was terrible. So uncomfortable. And at 10:30- 11 at night a door in the kitchen just under us banged loudly about 50 times (presumably they were taking rubbish out).

The outside setting

Room tired and disappointing. Bathroom dimly lit. Broken Toilet Seat and Toilet Roll Holder. Kitchen cooking Fumes coming up into our Bedroom and set the Smoke alarm off as our room was situated over the kitchen, also the Bedroom floor was hot which was very worrying. We had burgers the first evening and they were presented with burnt buns and burgers. Also worrying, there wasn't an escape route or safely information on the door.

"Pleasant country location "

Arrived a little early for checking in but it waan issue. Very pleasant staff member checked us in. Spacious room with a fan and nice modern shower bathroom. Amenity tray provided. Kettle does have a short length lead which just about reaches the power socket. Ate in restaurant very nice meals provided. Would consider using this place again if back in the area.

Easy to find - a great location in the countryside. A lovely traditional country public house|gastro pub - clean & warm. No television or slot machines in the bar. The reception received was very welcoming and the staff were all extremely helpful. Nice quiet room with comfortable bed and a good television. Nice teas and posh coffee. Bathroom very good. I ate in the restaurant - very nice service and the food was excellent. I left before breakfast. Excellent secure parking.
