Motel 6 Crowley, LA

The room had a musty smell. The toilet never stopped running, the bathroom door didn’t close because the floor was warped. The coffeemaker did not work. There were medium-sized bugs in the bathtub. Although it advertised breakfast, none was served, and I could not even go into the lobby to check in, but had to stand outside at the “night window” at 4 in the afternoon. If there had been anywhere else for me to stay, I would have left.

Terrible Night Shift/check in service, the lady was extremely rude since we were checking in. The parking lot next to the rooms was completely full, so I parked next to the fence , where other cars were parked. The lady came yelling at me, telling that I can’t park there, I asked where can I park? And she continued yelling at me that she is not there to show the guests where to park, she just told e that there were a lot of spaces. When I asked again, she yelled me to park my stuff and leave the hotel immediately, otherwise she would call the police. I asked why, and if she was going to refund my money and she yelled again that I had 5 minutes to leave the premises, and walked to the office. I was discussing with my wife what to do, and she came back and told me I had one more opportunity to park my car and said that of I can’t see the parking spaces I should not be driving, that was about 1AM. In the morning I saw a very faint lines close to the fence where I was parking originally, not visible at night. I’m very disappointed with the hotel and would not recommend it to anybody. The pictures in the web page do not show the real conditions of the hotel in general.

The pool was covered and shut down,but No free breakfast

Everything was just fine and we were happy with our stay. Which the pool could have been better

The property and the room was poorly kept and dirty. we purchased our own blankets as ours were visible stained. Carpets left socks black. property didnt seem safe with the people who were present. Staff was surprisingly nice. (These Issues were not brought up to staff as there is nothing that could be done with the poorly kept property and broken pool.)

Room itself was clean and welcoming, bathroom toilet was dirty and soiled, shower fixtures in poor condition, no bath soap provided. I should have checked out! Desk clerk not accommodating.

BEWARE - lots wrong with this hotel but the most important to know is there are shady men who hang out in the lobby because NO ONE works here. A guy followed me and my 2 teen daughters to the elevators and we excused ourselves after he got on, so to speak. First, it took us over 30 minutes to even check in because there was no one at the desk, no one answering the phone. Lady finally shows up, apologized for the delay, gave us 1 card. We did check in late, but there were also no towels. After trying to reach someone for towels for over an hour, she finally says she will bring them. The NEXT DAY we check out, unshowered, because we STILL NEVER GOT TOWELS. The hotel is old and been cheaply repaired. We stay in hotels all the time and this was by far the MOST UNSAFE we have ever felt. NEVER been to a hotel where there is no staff, EVER. Not even anyone cleaning. Which makes it a very good place for people to hang out in the lobby and pick someone out. NO THANKS. NOT EVER AGAIN. Worst experience ever.
