Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre

Only stayed the one night as was visiting the area. Location great front of the hotel impressive. Hotel was generally fine slightly over priced, but staff your good.

Reception small compared to how many rooms in hotel. My room was on first floor out of lift and to the right first room. The key card door entry is of old type and i had to return to reception as it did not work, and then when it does work its a few tries before lock opens. View was a flat roof with very large Air conditioning units. Bath was cracked, I presume from ill fitting glass selves in shower where only 1 of 3 still remains and this nearly fell while in the shower. Sink basin was also cracked. There was a rug at foot of bed that moved about as you walked on it and it nearly had me over a few times.

The room we got was at the front of the hotel you could hear absolutely everything from the cars driving the birds even the button pedestrians press to cross the road you could hear the beeping of that! I would definitely request to stay at a room that isn’t by the front of the hotel. People at the pubs drinking across the road you could hear the music the conversations they were having and we had our window shut! There was no mesh curtain to have pulled across during the day only the curtain for night time so you had no privacy as it was a massive window we were on the first floor so everyone could see in very easily through the window at you so you’d have to have the curtain closed and the room would be so dark! We had a late check out and the cleaner came in at 12 still while we were in the room saying to go check out I’d to explain to her that we’d a late Check out no apology from her just I didn’t know and she left the room! Paid for a deluxe king room and yet our friends got a much nicer room which was a standard room with breakfast for 20€ more than us however we spent 171€ no breakfast for a room that was tiny compared to our friends rooms! (A large group of us got rooms and the best room out of everyone was the standard room, family room was absolutely tiny andthe bathroom was tiny!!! The other kind deluxe room was tiny aswell but the bathroom was a good size another room was again the same tiny bathroom not much room to walk around the hotel room after bags were put away! So all in all the big standard room was the best one to stay in but that was located at the front so you’d to deal with everything from outside traffic people the birds the music etc

I liked the room, the swimming pool and its car park.
